Before we move to what happened to the elves that are blown up, a question needs to be answered. Two of them to be exact. That is, the nature of these explosives and how they have been set up to hit the intended targets. The explosion that occurred in the forest is the same one that Zeke used against Adeline. But there is a difference. This is the strengthened version. That’s right. The one that’s released at that point in time in the forest is the version of this explosion that is far stronger. [Location: Dark Elven Forest][Instance: Battle between Claudius versus Aries and Silver.The attack that Aries unleashed is one that she trained all her life to master. Ever since she learned how to wield a bow, she has been harnessing the power to fire this attack properly. Her fingers have been wounded and left calloused from her multiple attempts at making it stronger. Her shoulders have been strained and the blades of it have been broken a couple of times as well.There are nights when the dark elf would have fevers from all the pain that her body is going through because, she isn’t just practicing on mere targets after all. She’s practicing on real monsters. Ones that can fight back against her. This personal training of hers continued for a while because she has to survive. The fight continued on in this manner, both Claudius and the two dark elves are already giving their all in that battle. Both parties are risking their lives and going limb for limb as they continued to fight to the best of their abilities. With each of their attacks being intended to take the lives of their opponents. That is the kind of intensity that this fight has now heightened to. A point where the only outcome that they’re waiting for is the death of one or the other. Anything else than this cannot happen anymore. That being said, the focus of both parties are only on that fight. Everything else doesn’t matter to them and, for Claudius, this is more so. After all he’s already set up a barrier around that place which prevents outsiders from entering. This has been made with a binding vow that prevents any dark elf from coming in. The dark elves are known for one thing. Their skill in the forge. When it comes to this, there is nobody that can deny their ability. That is how good they are in their craft and, this is also the reason why they have continued to thrive for a long time even though they have been absent from the battlefield. Despite their lack of forces that could be sent to the war against the forces of the demon lord, the fact that all of the weaponry, items, and armor that the other kingdoms are using stems from them means that they are just as vital as everyone else who if fighting.This is also a testament to how good they are in making weaponry and everything else. After all, if the things they create are substandard, then this means that they would easily be discarded and their kingdom would simple be allowed to be laid waste. But that didn’t happen and these dark elves continued making the best that they could to counter and fight against all that is in the way of those that are fighting again

The attack that the two dark elves unleashed isn’t something that came without any price. There is one. A big one to be exact. The thing is that, by forcing their arrows to pierce with the amount of strength that it did, they basically had to offer up half of the entirety of their mana pool. Aside from what they’ve already spent in that battle, they had to take this amount of mana out of the pool as well. Leaving them with virtually nothing more to spend. A single cast of their lowest grade spell, that is the only thing they can now use and, that is a bad thing in and off itself.After all, this means that they have exhausted their reserves to an extent that they are now placing their very lives in risk of perishing. But that won’t happen because, now, these same dark elves can finally rest.
