What's behind the wooden door isn't something that I ever thought about before. As soon as we opened the door, we were greeted by a misty swamp. Hundreds of white storks flew like a mob of moths, then perched on a fallen tree trunk. It happened maybe because they heard the noise of our footsteps. Various small animals such as frogs and water bugs moved away as we stepped into the middle of the swamp. Phantom asked us not to split up. He said the boss could hide anywhere and if one of us might accidentally pull out the aggro, he could easily take over.
"Where are the nuts?!" Evo looks very impatient. I looked around but found nothing but solid white fog. "I can beat the nut with just one slash!" Evo said so arrogantly.
A red arrow appeared beneath my feet. "What is this?" I pointed at the arrow.
Phantom threw the shield he was carrying in front of me in one direction. The sound of cracking tree trunks filled the silent swamp, accompanied by a deafening screech. "Stay right here!" He shouts before running in one direction.
Phantom dashed through the fog. He looked very in a hurry, followed by Evo behind him. Not wanting to be left alone, I decided to follow them. Tendrils filled the arena in front of me, and I retreated. About 8 meters from where I was standing, still shrouded in fog, I could faintly see a creature resembling a soldier with tendrils sticking out from several parts of its body. A wooden warrior in armor, complete with a wooden sword and shield of the same material. "The nutcracker?!" Shocked, and confused when I saw a nearly 2-meter-high nutcracker that was so alive.
I saw how Phantom blocked every attack from the nutcracker using a shield and Evo attacked from the other side. I understand now what Yoga told me about a team. I immediately prepared with my bow, but when it was about to shoot the area around us turned red. "Interrupt!" Phantom turned to me, he then hit the nut making it fall. Nutcracker had failed to cast his skill.
Evo leaped into the air, flashes of red light flashing from his two blades as he slashed at the nutcracker's body. Then he returned to the ground. Not long after the nutcracker fell, he then disappeared into beads of light that rose into the sky.
"Done!" I assumed Evo meant that we had won.
"Good job Monck. If you are late to give the warning, we will die!"
From killing the bean, we got an item drop. I got a mana item from the boss which turned out to be quite cheap, but still sellable. Evo gets a white wooden shield. He said he would take the color of the shield, not the model. I don't understand what he meaning. While Phantom gets a valuable item when compared to us. The herbal item is the king's bark which is useful as a consuming buff material that will give the effect of increasing 5% the attack and accuracy for 1 hour. This item is usually sold for 100k per piece in the market. The luckiest Phantom on us.
"Let's move to the next floor!" Phantom asked us to get ready for the 2nd floor and don't forget to bring all the drop items we got from the Nutcracker.
...
I know this place. The 2nd floor of the celestial tower is the Damavand volcano area where the mad dragon Jawzahr lives. Unlike the actual map, in the celestial tower, the dragon roams around accompanied by small creatures like the nutcracker or rather the boss on the first floor celestial tower in its tiny version.
"Maybe we will lose!" I looked at the Phantom who was so pessimistic. "We have never gone this far," I began to feel afraid. "Should we retreat now?"
I don't want to back down. Because I once beat Jawzahr with yoga. I hope that here too we can do the same. "Could we try first?" I wish we had tried it first, if we really can't then we'll back off.
Jawzahr was already in front of us, maybe 20 meters away. There are still so many opportunities for us to retreat. "Let's try!" It turns out that Evo agrees with me.
Phantom ran to Jawzahr's toward. He swung his sword to attract the dragon's attention and then led it towards a narrow area under the cliff. Jawzahr's movements were now restricted, with the Phantom who sacrificed himself trapped with Jawzahr in a narrow area under the cliff so that Evo and I could attack from a safe distance.
This trick works. The small area of the overdraft made it impossible for Jawzahr to issue a jump attack straight at us which inflicted a slow debuff and even the slash of his tail became very easy to dodge. I admit the Phantom trick is good.
I used the same strategy as when defeating Jawzahr together with Yoga. Starting the initial combo with a skill that gives Jawzahr a slow effect. Followed by a skill to help recover mana points for 60 seconds. Now and then I throw a shot that causes paralysis and silent debuff to lower the attack speed of Jawzahr. Buy time for 15 seconds to charge destruction fire. After 15 seconds, I then used the armor destroying skill to lower Jawzahr defense and dodge the possible guard Jawzahr gave so that it would lower the attack of my damage. Followed by shooting destruction shots that have been collected for 15 seconds. It worked again as I thought.
As Jawzahr's body unraveled like a nutcracker, they looked at me with pretentious expressions. "Wow.., dude! Amazing" Evo was at a loss for words. He had not yet cast a unit skill and the dragon had already fallen. I walked over to the Phantom to help him up from the overdraft.
The item drop we got from killing Jawzahr was a crystal mana item with a sapphire color. "We are very lucky today!" said Phantom. Phantom asked us to hurry to the next floor. I feel like it will take a long time to complete each floor in the celestial tower.
...
The place we went to next was a toy warehouse with a Christmas tree and jumbo-sized gift boxes lined up. A brown teddy sitting quietly accompanied by several miniature toy cars maybe 5 to 7 meters high. The atmosphere of toy barn was so quiet. If there's sound, then it's just some rotary mechanical toy being rattled around in a rigid motion by an old mechanical system.
Phantom asked us to walk behind him. "Be careful!" Phantom asked us to avoid the small toys milling about.
I heard a faint child's laughter from behind the red door with some gold ornaments behind the Christmas tree. We looked at each other. This is the first time they enter on the 3rd floor and the first time for me to join a dungeon. "Is it there?" our minds are guessing.
"I don't know," Phantom asked us to wait outside. He walked towards the door carefully while avoiding the small toys there. Slowly open the doorknob and peek at what's inside.
The little boy's laughter grew louder and louder. The Phantom was bounced off by something along with the two doors that were wide open revealing a white creature resembling a faceless little angel hovering around. "Retreat!" Phantom instructed as quickly as he could. Evo pulled Phantom's arm which fell after being bounced, but this only made Charmain turn his head towards us. He flew slowly with 6 white wings while occasionally playing the small harp in his hand.
Phantom threw his shield to stun Charmain in 10 seconds, he wanted to create an opportunity for us to escape from the 3rd floor of the celestial tower. Slows Charmain's movement after he wakes up so Evo can take Phantom out, but this only makes Charmain angry. The color of his body which was originally white as snow suddenly turned red like blood with a black liquid oozing out from a large hole in his face.
"Immune!" We panicked when Phantom's shield throw didn't stun Charmain and seemed to infuriate him instead.
I, who was already in front of the exit, immediately ran to help them, but before I could reach the two an ice cannon shot out of the big hole in Charmain's face. I and Evo managed to dodge, but not Phantom. "Fatal damage...!" Phantom tried to stand up with his body covered in ice, he was hit by the freezing effect of the ice cannon for a while. This will be very troublesome for us because the Phantom's movement becomes very slow.
Evo cursed annoyed, I know this is too sudden. Didn't think that just peeking through the gap in the door could attract Charmain's attention. "Monk, fast kill, or our tank will die!" Because of the ice cannon attack, the Phantom's HP barely left 10%.
This is bad, Phantom's remaining HP is not more than 10% of the maximum total HP he has. This was a huge disaster for us because of the frozen debuff he got from Charmain that decreased his evasion, and dodge, which makes his movement become slow. Evo turned to face me, and I'm sure he was thinking the same thing I was. 'Who should hold the aggro?!'"Help Phantom please..!!"I understand what Evo means. We immediately split up, with me running towards Phantom and Evo moving in the opposite direction. Evo distracted Charmain and it worked. He spams skills so his aggro easily goes up compared to me and Phantom. Give time for me to help Phantom recover his HP by using the heal skill."Enough, Monck!" HP Phantom may not be fully recovered, only 45% of the maximum total HP he has. I looked at Evo, he didn't make a single hit. Just dodging as often as he could from Charmain's every attack. "Charmain has immunity when hp above 30%, while 30% below Charmain's resistance will increase. Require
The day I had dreaded had arrived. We gathered near the celestial tower around 8 P.M., filled with doubts, and fears. If we were brave and lucky enough to face Charmain the day before, success now seems improbable. “We will wait for my friend!” I requested that they wait for Graf. I lied to them that Graf would be joining our team, even though Graf just wanted to know about their understanding and equipment quality. "Is this person just your friend in the game?" Asked Phantom. "He's my senior. We took the same major in college,” I can't tell them in depth. One of the rules in 9 Guardians is that no accounts may be shared. It will be a problem in the future if they discover Monck is not my real account. Finally, Graf arrived, he used an account with IGN Lucia_27. The character's appearance is very cute and honestly, that makes me jealous. 'Why isn't Monck made as cute as Lucia?!' My heart is crying. The appearance of character Monk is a masculine male between 20-25 years old, who h
"He will be unable to attend tonight. Because his friend was absent today, he was asked to replace him!" Evo couldn't join us tonight, he is still at work. Phantom asked me to stop waiting for him. "For this week, our schedule is to help you reach level 70!".“Okay!”Phantom told me that the location we were going to was quite far away from a savepoint. He asked me to bring enough supplies and all the equipment that I would use because we won't be able to buy it if we run out of supplies. "What monster will we face later?" I'm curious."This mini-boss is one of the dragons who appeared and destroyed Filanesia city in the main quest of the 9 Guardians. Its base element is fire, but this dragon has a dark elemental attack that deals extremely dangerous fatal damage. The AOE is a little longer before the skill is active, so tanks can easily interrupt!" I don't understand what dragon Phantom means, because neither Graff nor Yoga have not given me a permit to do the main quest yet."Are t
When Luna became angry, the tiny fire dragon was able to kill our mental and courage to continue this grinding. Phantom asked to kick Alex from our team, a member with the job as a knight. He flees after being hit by a single attack from Luna before the fight is over. "Is there any problem?" Phantom's performance in the celestial tower against Jawzahr was far superior to his performance against Luna. With all of the new equipment and the lower mini-boss level, I can say Phantom's game appears sloppy and is very detrimental to DPS. He kept allowing Luna to use lethal area skills and even the aggro that was released several times."Knights, I hate them!" Phantom appeared enraged at the knights who fled in the middle of the fight."Is it because he insulted you?" I'm curious about what made Phantom so enraged. Phantom is quieter in many ways than Evo. If it makes him angry, it's no longer a minor issue."He keeps stealing my interrupts. The main skill of a knight in this game is obtaine
"RMT, or Real Money Trading, is the act of buying and selling items in a game using real money, which includes the game's currency itself. Some MMORPG games allow this, while others do not. 9 Guardians is one of them. Although it is illegal, the business continues to thrive. This is due to several factors: a Weak surveillance system, most 9 Guardians players didn't have much time to spend playing this game, very slow game progress, a heavy grinding system, and intense market competition. All players must have a large amount of gold. Gold is used to purchase equipment and other items. If they didn't have gold, it was almost certain that their equipment was inadequate, making it difficult for players to play the game. They must sacrifice hours of work and play in 9 Guardians to obtain gold. Farming for days and fighting bosses for rare items that take hours is impossible for them. The players' desire to survive in 9 Guardians for various reasons, as well as their refusal to switch to a
I know Evo and Phantom won't log in at this hour. Evo could be still in college or working, while Phantom could be still finishing up his final project. In Finalesia, which is always crowded with players, I walk alone. I'd tried to remember where the blacksmith NPC (Not a Playable Character) is, the NPC synthetic to make a consume buff or combine dye items, the library where I can learn and up my skills, where the storage NPC was, and the market where I can sell items.Soothing music made me lulled a little, but all that attracted me to this city is the large statue in the middle of the town square. A valiant knight with a shield and sword on a white horse. I don't know who he is. Yoga and Graf forbade me to play the main quest until my level reached 200. They wanted me to reach max level using the point experience that I gained from the MQ (Main Quest). Perhaps this is in stark contrast to the advice given by so many YouTube channels to beginners to complete MQ first, but when we thi
Through a portal from the ruins of Winnei city, we headed for the outer area of the Black Dragon Shrine. The conditions are not much different from the previous map. Most of the shrine building complex has been destroyed, rubble is scattered and the floor is sticking out in several parts, causing gaping holes. 666 walked towards a sapphire crystal door of the only intact building in the Black Dragon Shrine complex. The atmosphere instantly changed once we were in it. A gust of wind forced its way through the crack in the broken stained glass window. Their voices were like a tearful cries. "Did you have finish your MQ?" Lea asked me.“I haven't done my MQ at all. This is my first time going to this map,” they laughed when I give that answear."Then make this an exercise. On one of the story missions in the main quest, you will face a Banshee! You can pre-train with us now!”.This location was larger than what we could be seen from the outside. Huge gilded pillars rise from the ground
We now understand why the Banshee attack is so dangerous. This is due to Banshee's instant death debuff. "I never knew that," Aree said to Lea. "I'm sorry, Lea, I can't interrupt at the right time, and I couldn't hold Banshee's aggro. I was having trouble deflecting Banshee’s blows. This minibos also keeps moving quickly!" I understand Aree's situation, so I choose silence.“Instant death?!” 666 turned to face me. "I've never heard of this debuff," he didn't seem to believe me. "You didn't make this up, did you?"."Would you like to try?" I got back ready with my bow. Soon after we killed the first Banshee, another appeared. This Banshee occasionally hovered low, surveying the surroundings, keeping an eye on us, and keeping to protect this shrine."Wait a minute, I need to catch my breath!" We decided to take a short break. While we rested, I checked my bag. I get two item drops after killing Banshee. "What can we sell from Banshee's drop item?" I'm not sure what they're looking for
