Time for a good old dinner.
One Above All Meets Morgana. “Where am I?” The lady with the red gown asked herself, a frown on her face. She held one hand to her jaw, her eyes looking about for some but of recognition in the place she found herself. Her body ached, but it was no matter. What bothered her was the low visibility that she had. She wished it could go away. But it stuck. Like jet lag, if she even knew what that was. “Ah!” She moaned out, holding her right hand to the wall as she stumbled into the alley, her head bent. Unknown to her, some men of the night had begun to trail her. Three of them in number and whilst one of them held a bottle of beer, the others looked already wasted. It was Brazil and these ones looked like the rogue mafia guys who had felt that they could just go out to get any girl who they wanted.Even if the circumstances regarding that were one that smelt entirely of violation. Especially if this one did not know any better than to remain in an alley where someone like them would m
“Everyone has dirt, Leslie. Everyone!” The all too familiar voice of the grand inquisitor sounded. His gray three piece suit, his now stuck in insignia of his office backing the figure of the white lady. He had his hair curly and brown, his face bearded till only few patches of his skin could actually be seen. The room where he was in was pretty magijificnent. White glossy paint coated the walls with lots of space in and about the room. The ceiling were beautified by silverware chandelier, hanging down exquisitely while portraying a level of architectural finesse in the hall. The walls were bare, not a single adornment in except for the large display clock o for black which stuck to the west side. And right in the center of the room was a dinning table, the Grand Inquisitor backing it as he smiled to space. Behind him, sitting at the head of the table was Leslie with her face bowed down. She had a scowl in, showing how much she did not like being around prof Bumju but as alway
At the sound of the knocks against the door, Beatrice grabbed Prof Bumju by the ahan. In an instant, a space portal warped open in front of them, and gen they got in, leaving Leslie alone in the mansion. Now left alone, Leslie sighed. She heaved out, shaking her head with a smirk on her face. “You guys can come in.” She answered the knocks. The door opened wide to admit Lekan and of course, Blessing. As expected, Lekan was brooding, his eyes pinned to the ground with his hands in his pockets. Seeing him, Leslie had a final idea of how much Blessing must have insisted for them to be there. It was fun and in a way cute. Yo see him this way. She giggled, holding her hands behind her back as she walked to them. The room was spacious. However at the door, there was the setting of a living room before which the dinning room took prominence. This meant that whoever entered the house would have tk walk across the living room all the way to the dinning room. However. Leslie had already
“I don’t understand. So you lied about everything?” Blessing gasped. “All of that internship stuff and all was just some fake things just So that you could come Close to us and what? Kidnap us? This dinner too?” She yelled out. “No, you are blowing things out of proportion.” Leslie raised a hand in the air towards her. “Of course i would. Do you know how stupid I feel now? I had to tell Lekan that he was having misguided feelings. I had to make him lose trust in his own initiative and yet, I was the bait that you used to bring us here? To come here! You know how used I feel?” Blessing roared, promptly shooting up form the table. She slammed a fist down, the plates and other utensils lifting only a little from the table top. “You are a liar, Leslie. I hate what you did!” “I said, you are talking things too seriously!” Leslie roared out, standing up form the table and staring daggers at her. “I told you you I was just a spy. Nothing more. But the whole essence of everything was to
“Blessing. What the heck? You’re using me to make a call?” Lekan yelled out. He was fast losing his patience. It was one thing to be here simply because Belssing had coaxed him to come around. It was another thing, definitely, to remain her even after the episode in the dinning room. He did not want to be anywhere around here. Not in the slightest bit. And the fact that Blessing was the wine who was still delaying them in front of the gate was now angering him. Did she not know how much he wanted to be out of here? Mthe frazy girl lied. His heart boiled. He knew he had been right around along but then again, the raw fact that had happened before him. The actual reality that his suipcipn was out here and proved to be right hurt nonetheless. Perhaps, he would have been pacified to learn that it was just his own suspicion and nothing more. Unfortunately, that did not happen: He was right. He inhaled, trying not to lose his cool at Blessing. Blessing was easily trusting and could
Desmond paced about in his room. His eyebrows narrowed as he heaved restlessly. Today was different. He did not have a woman with him. Indeed, he could not have. For what was on his mind was far different from any other lust driven initiatives. He swallowed, heaving out. This was already getting late and his ward was yet to be back. Was it already some time when he had received him from the hospital? What was really happening to Lekan? It was one thing for the brat to worry him. It was one thing for that idiot of a ward and a nephew to act all spoilt and that. He could take it. In fact, he really did not care. Nothing Lekan said or did could remove him away from being his legal guardian. There was actually, but the boy did not know. And he was glad that this was the case. However, after that day at the hospital. The day he had almost slipped up twice in a row. First during the call with Blessing and then when that white nurse had approached him. He clicked his tongue agaisnt his
Usually he would be scared. The smile Amihan shot him was very unnerving. The typical Cheshire smile that possessed beings usually gave. It was very unsettling. Any normal human would have screamed or reacted or even froze on the spot. But he was no normal human. He was a boy who kept on having flashes about things right before they even happened. How could he be normal? Lekan ignored the Cheshire grin from the demon and then turned to the system lady now. He had one business on his mind and it ass beat that he went straight to dealing with him. The weakness he felt from earlier, he knew instantly that his body has given way. Probably that was because it was unable to beat the strain of the system or whatnot. This meant that he had to get done here as quick as possible. And head back to his body, in the physical state before anyone could suspect anything. He certainly did not want to have to get any help from his uncle in that state. “It’s nice to see you again host.” The s
Lekan frowned his face at the scene before him. Or at least attempted o frown his face. Just then, he could feel an influx of emotions flooding his entire body. Triumph, happiness, greed and all sort of emotions flooded his senses. Some of them so alien. Memories he did not won flooded his senses now, that he reeled back in the inrush. Then he remembered what the system lady told him lastly. That whatever he w* showing to feel or see would be through his father’s eyes. Practically, he w*s reliving a memory but as his father. That meant he had very little control over the things jow. He could only sit in the vehicle that w*s his father and w*tch how things played. WTch what happened that had led to his father leaving the System Bureau. The scarilege that the Bureau had committed that had led to the rodent situation of things. That said he relaxed himself as he Stv he’s the proceeding. His mind worrying over why the Uncle was here. And why he looked horrified, “You don’t have t
