46. By Blood shall you dominate

Lekan gasped as the scene before his eyes vanished without a trace.

He wanted to pull it back, to bask in that memory for some time and know what had become of the fight. He wanted to know what his father had menat by saying that he wanted them to fight together.

At least, that was what Amihan had said to him.

There was so much he did not know.

He dropped to his knees, holding out his hands before his face. Agony ripped his heart, mercilessly, tearing off shards of his soul. All along he had as assumed his uncle was the one who wanted to come into wealth that was not his own.

Never for once did he know that the wealth his father blasted off, was the wealth that himself and his brother had started out then the wealth he had pushed him out of.

Anger churned within his heart now. He realized how much his father had always insisted that weak did not have a path in this world. Was that what he meant by being strong? To cheat others of their sweat and their work just so he could claim it?
