Chapter 198: Must Be Done

Adam looked at the strange mark on his arm.

There was a mark that looked like, ‘three leaves,’ below his wrist. This resulted from the Blood Bond spell. Mr Thomas finally cast it successfully. However, after completing the spell, Mr Thomas fainted. Only after about an hour, he woke up. Even after that, he went back to sleep. 

Adam checked him to see if it had done any damages to Mr Thomas, but he realised it was just exhaustion from casting the spell. It was enough for him to realise that the Blood Bond spell was powerful enough even to drain out a 9th tier magician. 

However, other than this strange mark that appeared on his and King Rothgar’s hands, there was no notable effect on them.
