Chapter 262: A God Had Returned

Adam ignored the events surrounding him.

He heard the bones falling to the ground as they lost their controller. The undead were gone, but something sinister was coming. He crawled under the pedestal, reaching for the floating black crystal.

The pressure was crushing him, making his vision blur. Adam tried his best to finish this as soon as possible.

He didn’t see the blood coming out of the Arch lich dying the drawing on the ground. A cloud of black smoke came from the dead body and merged into the black vortex. An eerie scream came from the smoke, as if a soul was being sucked into the dark vortex.

Soon, the vortex enlarged, turning into a three-meter-tall black square. It solidified into a black metal door covered in chains. The chains had hideous-looking skulls carved into it, and the door itself looked like the mouth of a terrible creature.

There was a banging on the door from the other side, as if something wanted to break free.
