Chapter 28: Unforgiving

It was the night at Westwood.

And as usual, animals and beasts started their night activities in the dark, hidden from one another. One was waiting for the prey, while another was hiding from its predator.

Great deer were the biggest herbivores in the Westwood forest. And they rarely had any predator that threatened, unless they went too close to the high pass mountain. They rarely had their guard up against most of the animals, unless it was a large number of wolves or a Giant python.

However, wolves were not brave enough to go against this massive beast. Especially with their iron-like hooves that can kill just more than several wolves with a kick. And for the Giant Python, well, it was more about running away. Besides, they rarely attacked great deer since they were not an easy meal for them.
