Matilda thought she heard wrong.

“Of course, but if we delay the treatments it will take a lot more effort.”

“Miss, can’t you cast the healing spell to cure it?”

“Sadly, no. No one has that level of power. Maybe only the Saintess Wendy or Master Gerard can do it. The one that can certainly do it is the Lord.”

The soldier seemed to understand what the woman talked about, but Matilda failed to understand her. Instead, she had several complicated feelings in her mind.

These people seemed to not mind how dirty she was. But she felt inferior to this woman with clean attire. Also, they treated her and her mother very nicely.
