chapter 24 : Punishment

After walking for a while, Janson arrived at the door of one of the few buildings built of stone instead of wood.

He looked at the guard standing by the door, which was decorated with many drawings of winged dragons.

" Raffel, don't you get bored of standing in front of the door doing nothing, bring some excitement into your life, man."

The guard named Raffel, who was used to Janson's jokes, smiled

"Boy, what did you do this time? Many merchants have just come to file a complaint against you! "

Janson shrugged his shoulders and said as he entered the gate

"I didn't do anything, but I might if I saw one of the damned merchants . . . ."

Janson passed through a large hall full of panels that were awaiting him with various kinds of tasks. Many people inside this hall were all staring at him with a look saying, what did you do this time!?

Janson shrugged and went up the stairs to the second floor, where the office of the deputy commander of the guard was in charge of the guard's affairs
