Epic 14

After reading the message mum sent, I called her immediately.

“I thought you wanted to act smart and stand the chance of losing your mother”. She said, bringing back her evil laughter.

“So what is the deal now?”, I asked her.

“There isn't any deal, just released my son, so that I can release your mother as well”, she said.

“Okay I will do that, but please keep to your words”. I pleaded.

“As long as you keep yours”, she said and ended the call.

I just sat down confused.

“I warned you, but you didn't listen”, Alex said.

“Nothing has happened, why are you sounding like something bad has happened?”, I said, looking at him strangely and hoping he could shut up.

“Your facial expression says a lot about it, at least I am certain about your endings with a laugh, which you didn't do”, he said, raising his brows and I started laughing.

“It's nice to see you smile again, let's go home”, he said and we both held hands together and left the confined environment.
