The lad couldn't raise his head. It felt like he was under a sort of spell. As though his neck would snap if he attempted to put up his head. They were back in the hotel room where Alves was treated. But it felt like a strange place at that moment. The lad kept the stare at the cold floor. He didn't even bat an eye. There seemed to be a lot going through his mind. It felt like his head would explode from the multitude of thoughts building up at the depth of his consciousness. And he was making efforts to sort as many as possible out. "Leave me be."Alves called out of nowhere. The lad who acted as though he was disinterested all along picked his head as though he had been waiting to do that all his life. His eyes were super active, and his face fell. Alves took a glance at the lad, then looked away at once. The lad who had been addressed, though made meaning of it, yet was reluctant to act on it. Perhaps because of the urgency of the order or because he never could have imagined
For a few seconds, Alves was quite surprised that Villian was here. He had a couple of reasons, but he didn't make it evident in his facial reaction. "Boss, where have you been? You shouldn't do this to me. You know how much I love and miss you."Alves was trying to recall what happened the last time he met with Villain. He was trying to reach the distant thought but he couldn't quite reach it. And it was quite annoying that with all he did and how he strained to get the knowledge and reach at the memory, he just couldn't help himself. He heaved a sigh. He didn't want to hold unto something which had proven to be useless. Alves took a quick glance at Villian as soon as Villian lifted his body. When his eyes met Villain, he turned and walked back into the hotel room. "Should I come in?"Villian called at Alvss, who had gotten to a section of couches in the hotel room. The room was archetype to a sort of hall which comprised of a dining place, sitting room, bedroom, a bar, and more
Villian kept approaching Alves. Alves had no idea what to do. Not yet. There were a couple of things flying around in his head, and he didn't know which of the multitude to grasp. Now that he knew that Villian was a threat, not to him but to the people of the world. He wouldn't let that get to him. He wouldn't allow himself to be swept off his feet every time by surprise. Alves was expecting what would happen in the nearest second. Villian was getting closer and closer and closer till he finally got to where Alvess was seated. Naturally, by the call of his instinct, Alves could have jumped up on his feet. He could have taken a stance for a fight, but he didn't do any of the above. For a sheer moment, he was forced to think that his Ri was the one responsible for that awkward moment. To think of it, it made sense if his Ri was acting that way and was responsible for the odds. He might be doing it as a payback to Alves. Alves didn't care. There was no point crying over spilt milk. V
"Say the words now!!!"Alves roared at Villian. Alves didn't look like he would take back his actions. With the manner at which he was ready to approach what comes after these actions, it didn't seem as though he regretted any of the actions. Instead, it was as though he would do even worse than that if at the end of the day, he didn't get to have his way. He was approaching Villian again. Villian was trying to roll to his side. He was in pain and couldn't hide it. He seemed to have broken some few bones of the ribs. Villian tried to sit up but fell on his back again. Alves got to him, towering over him. He looked down at Villian, who didn't want to look him in the eyes. It was hard to tell what was going through Villian's mind. But, the sudden change of Alves obviously caught the fellow off guard. Villian could never have imagined something like that. Even Alves didn't know that he would let all lose at that particular time. It was as though the actions had another wheel steering
"Where is the way to the rooftop?"Alves stopped as soon as he saw the lad. The lad who had been expecting to see him spun around at once. He had excitement, struggling with anxiety stalking his timid face. "His Eminence. Come with me, I'll show you to the place."The lad turned around and started to lead the way. "I appreciate your proactive nature, but just point me in the direction. I want to be alone. On a more serious note."Alves called at the lad, but this time, it wasn't authoritative or how it used to be. This time, he looked to be a little lax and gentle. It was quite hard to tell what he was up to. The lad who had slowly turned back to him to watch him speak wasn't sure of what to make of his sudden reactions too. It was a random change, which he couldn't imagine. He wanted to wait for a while to check out what might be the possibility, but the urgency in the face of Alves gave him no choice. "Alright. Please come with me."The lad said. Alves didn't hesitate. He foll
Alves wasn't sure of what to believe. Of course, he had a lot of questions, but he didn't quite know which of the questions to build upon. He looked to be awestruck and confused simultaneously. His eyes would dance in their sockets, and he would try to link the sight to the brains. "Mia..."He called the name again and again as Mia kept on walking towards him briskly. Even though he knew that it was just a matter of time before she got to him, yet he felt like..."What are you - how did you know that I am here?"Alves asked as soon as she got to him and stood right at his front. She was looking him right in the eyes. Alves found it quite weird. There were a couple of things to read to that. And she seemed weird, too. "Mia... How did you figure out that I would be -"Alves couldn't carry on with the words. He felt flesh in his lips. It happened too quickly that he couldn't react at once. Things like this would happen to him often. He should be used to them, yet he couldn't help him
Turning his body, Alves realised that he was in a lying position. His mind zoomed through what had happened. The moment he moved his body to the other side of the bed, there came a hurrying footstep from beside him. "Oh my God, Alves. Oh my God, you are alive."The voice sounded very familiar. It was Mia. Alves tried to sit up at once, but he felt pain in his stomach."You can't do as you wish right now. So you better lie down and don't hurt yourself any further."She said to him while walking closer and closer. From the tone of her voice, Alves couldn't discern. "Stop!"Alves reached out his hands all of a sudden to make her stop. Surprised, Mia halted, gawking at him. She looked to be confused, trying to figure out what had gotten over Alves. Alves, on the other hand, was trying to understand what was happening. The last thing he remembered was that he passed out. But before he passed out, the man who had disguised as Mia had vanished. COULD THIS BE HIM DISGUISING AGAIN?He was
"Where the hell is this fool?"Alves had searched all through. He had searched through the forest, the Palace, which was said to be his hideout. And he couldn't find who he was looking for. "Shouldn't he be waiting to receive me?"He was offended. He was standing in the garden, at the edge of the pool where Mia had left him the other day. "You came back so early."A voice came from behind him at once. He knew who the owner of the voice was at once. He turned around to face Akulia, wearing a tough and mean face,"Don't you know that you are obligated to me and shouldn't wander around?"He asked the question with disgust in his voice. "Didn't you have a lot to take care of in Grimming Hills?"Akulia answered a question with another. That got Alves enraged. "Do you want to die? Since when did you ask the questions?"He was facing Akulia. He didn't leave the position where he was. But his eyes had travelled miles. "Now you will keep quiet while I answer the questions.""Oh. Okay. Co
