There came about seven sabres in his direction, and they came too quickly that Alves could not avoid any. Not even one of the swords. He could feel and hear metals tearing into his flesh, and shoving his inside to the side.

The pain was severe and excruciating. He had meant to stand up at once to fight these men off, but he wasn't even given the chance to take a perfect stance before he was ambushed and stabbed at every corner of his body.

He dropped on his knees. Blood was about streaming from every part of his body. The sabers were in his chests, sides and legs.

There was no part of his body that didn't have a share of the pain which was travelling across his body in a great and quick velocity. With pangs.
