"...I can't see her..."

Turning his body, Alves realised that he was in a lying position. His mind zoomed through what had happened.

The moment he moved his body to the other side of the bed, there came a hurrying footstep from beside him.

"Oh my God, Alves. Oh my God, you are alive."

The voice sounded very familiar. It was Mia. Alves tried to sit up at once, but he felt pain in his stomach.

"You can't do as you wish right now. So you better lie down and don't hurt yourself any further."

She said to him while walking closer and closer. From the tone of her voice, Alves couldn't discern.

"Stop!"

Alves reached out his hands all of a sudden to make her stop. Surprised, Mia halted, gawking at him. She looked to be confused, trying to figure out what had gotten over Alves.

Alves, on the other hand, was trying to understand what was happening. The last thing he remembered was that he passed out. But before he passed out, the man who had disguised as Mia had vanished.
