Chapter 1423 No Sexy Commercials

Melissa is now at LCN talking to Daniel and delivering more scripts typed into the computer. Daniel checks how the scripts were written according to the required formatting.

“Very well, Melissa. You have become an experienced TV writer.”

“Thank you, Daniel. I visited my ex-husband. We don't need to be upset with Jack Motta.”

Daniel embarrasses himself, “Is he still upset? I told you this is just business, Melissa.”

“You know how it is: it's hard to hear that your show will come to an end.”

“Jack Motta's book was a very round and closed story. There was no room for more stretches and seasons. But ‘Love Just Happens’, by Isabel Freire, was the opposite. The screenwriter in charge found many details to explore, especially the protagonists' best friends.”

Melissa smiles sweetly, “And you think my story, ‘Sweet Love,’ will make it into more seasons?”

“It will depend on how you write the story and how the audience will react. We hope our viewers are excited as I am.”
