A few days passed. Josias anxiously waited for the result of the DNA test. He paced around the mansion's living room, didn't eat properly, and was cranky in the office.

Once, Alan got tired of seeing his father only drink black coffee without sugar, “Dad, eat these brioches or help yourself to bread with quince jam. Otherwise, you will get sick.”

“Anxiety is killing me, son.” Josias sighs.

“What do you really expect?” Alan interrogates him.

“I want to know if I’ll be a father for the fifth time.” Josias opens and closes his fists, “It feels like I compete with Pamela.”

“Forget that harlot.” Alan shrugs, “You should hope the test comes back negative.”

Josias looks curiously at his son, “Don't you want another little sister?”

“Honestly, no.” Alan answers as he sips his coffee, “I'm pretty satisfied with having siblings
