Chapter 2535 An Extravagant Guest

At the Mountain Penthouse, Daryl stands with his arms crossed watching Shirley eating the breakfast SHE prepared. Diane had made toast with honey, but Shirley decided on pancakes with lots of syrup.

“Do you want a pancake, my grandson?” Shirley hands Felipe a piece on her fork.

Felipe stands up abruptly from the dinner table and shouts, “You know where to stick that pancake!”

Felipe strides out of the dining room. Daryl is already dressed for work while Shirley is still in her robe and slippers.

“Mom, you woke up later and are still having breakfast as if you had nothing left to eat.” Daryl complains, “It’s already nine o’clock in the morning. It’s too late for breakfast.”

“If your wife made a decent breakfast...” Shirley hints snidely, “I remember Melissa always had a maid. Why don’t you hire one?”

“The penthouse costs don’t allow me to have a maid.” Daryl says flatly, “I’m working as an employee of Cláudio Guzman.”

“That will be for now.” Shirley shrugs. She eats the pancake.
