Teodoro overcomes the desire to hang up on Carmen or the desire to lie that Pamela died.

"I'll call her before she has sex with a tenant here." He says in an acid tone.

"What did you say—" That's all Carmen said before Teodoro left.

Teodoro goes to Pamela's apartment and knocks on the door without ceremony. She opens it with a choleric look.

"Is that the way to knock on the door?" She complains.

"A call for you, it's your sister Carmen." He warns mechanically and leaves.

Pamela's mouth open, such a pleasant surprise. Carmen! How long, she decided to contact her!

After flying to the office, she picks up the phone. "Sis! How cool, I thought we would never talk to each other again!"

"Pamela, meet me tomorrow at that diner where you used to go near the school." She seriously states, bluntly, "We need to talk."
