At Rocha Constructions, Reuben sat at his desk attending to business matters when Caroline approached him.

"Mr. Peterson, I'll send the message as soon as possible. Good to hear the tile prices are down," Reuben said into the phone before ending the call abruptly with a smile upon seeing Caroline. "Ok, I need to hang up, bye! Darling, it's great to see you!" Reuben greeted her warmly.

Caroline returned the smile. "I'm doing well, Reuben. Alan's waiting for me."

"Yeah, he mentioned it. You can go right in," Reuben replied, with a knowing wink as Caroline headed towards Alan's office.

Inside Alan's office, Caroline found her brother seated at his desk with an expression serious and composed.

"Here I am, big bro," Caroline greeted him confidently.

"Have a seat, Carol," Alan responded calmly.

Caroline shook her head, standing firm. "I'm fine standing. I had the servants tidy up your room."

Alan looked momentarily embarrassed, shaking his head. "You shouldn't have bothered them. It wasn't
