THE FAMILIAR TATTOO

Allen walked as fast as he could from the scene.

He had his backpack tucked firmly on his back and went on his journey.

In about five minutes, he got to his house.

Immediately he entered his house, he heard the beeping of sirens of the police cars from all directions, passing by the estate.

Allen heaved a sigh of relief, knowing that the children around could be saved by the police.

Although he was not sure whether or not the perpetrators were going to be punished, he kept high hopes that the innocent victims were going to be safe.

In the city he was in, it was very easy for the perpetrators to be left alone, especially if they had someone backing them politically or financially.
