WILDERNESS OF THE EAST They were all still traveling along the wilderness which they had been living for so many years. Elena was leading them as she was the only one who knew the way out of the wilderness to the grasslands. “Wait!” Elena called to them and they all halt, bringing every movement to a stop all at once. “There’s something coming from behind us, some creature,” she said and they all looked backwards to be sure that whatever she was saying wasn't so close to us. “Mistress, what do you speak of?”Gastrus asked and she looked to him. “Its not close enough yet, my mind can't reach it,” she said back to him and he wondered what she was talking about. “Mistress—” he tried to speak and she shuts him up as she raises the index finger of her left hand. “Let me concentrate,” she intoned and he nodded. She closed her eyes and listened to what she alone was able to listen to. They could not hear what she was talking about and they also could not see it. Now, she was
REALM OF THE SPIRITS It was evening now, Nika had been in this realm since morning —seeking for the dwelling place of her sisters who had passed. She never thought it would be this difficult. “I won't be doing this if mother was still alive,” She mumbled as she kept walking through the bushes. After walking so long without taking a rest, her feet ached, and she felt like her legs could not carry her anymore. She leaned her back against a huge tree which was standing firm behind her and she pant uncontrollably as she found a moment to look at the scratch on her right foot. She saw that she might have stepped on something which injured her foot —slightly below her heel, and caused her to feel great pain. she slid her back on the tree until she sat on the grasses below the tree. she saw the cut was oozing out blood. Her eyes were closed as she covered the cut with her left hand, and whispered, “Brazias esgara!” The blue light which came from her eyes which were still closed found
TOWER OF VOCÍ It was night already, and Tamara was so tired from the several duties she was handling as her mother was gradually teaching her how to manage responsibilities when she passed. She took in a deep breath as she walked in through her door into her room. She lit up the lamp in her room and its light ridded her room of darkness. She sighed as she blew off the light on the touch, and ran her fingers through her hair as she walked down to her bed and sat. The only thought in her mind was how her bed would feel against her back when she finally lay on it. She got up again and pushed opened the window. The cold air of the night brushed against her face as she stared at the moon. "Something is not right," She whispered underneath her breath as her brows knitted. "What could possibly be going on," She whispered to herself again as she swept the air outside the window with her hand. "I should inform mother about this," She said to herself as she shut her window and ran out
TOWER OF IVÁDIA Nika gasped as she jolted up _ raising her upper body from underneath the pool of blood which flowed over her whole body and she breathed in the spirit which hovered over the pool. There was a great change in her whole body as she felt an extra unit of power entering into her body. She was coming out of a blood pool, but there was no stain of blood on her skin, it seemed like she came out of a pool of water rather than a pool of blood. She got up from the pool and stepped out of it, standing completely outside it. Her robe was still on the floor, so she picked it up and slid her hands into its sleeves and tied its ropes around her waist. Her eyes glared blue light which helped her walk her way to the door, as she was close to the door, her eyes changed color. It was now glowing a pale yellow light which broke down the wooden door the moment she looked to it. Her sisters were already assembling outside before the door, as there were all expecting her to come out
TOWER OF VOCÍ Tamara was still running and it seemed like her legs could not carry her anymore. Her sisters were screaming, running past her as they all were trying to escape the dragons who were obviously resisting their magic on them. She opened the inner gate of the castle and stood by the threshold and called her sisters to run into it. Everyone who was outside ran past her into the inner gate and she shut the gates. She fetched the sands before her feet, and threw it into the air above them. It cloaked them and the entire castle. “Is everyone alright, is anyone hurt?” Tamara asked her sisters as she tried to catch her breath. She turned to them and saw that they were all behind her, some were injured and some were unharmed. “Lucinda, your arm, it's bleeding. Try to heal yourself before you lose more blood than you've already lost,” Tamara said to Lucinda who was the only one sitting and leaning her back on the wall. “I, I can't heal myself. I don't know why, but it see
CAVES OF EFLIE Iasias opened his eyes and his eyes met the Callibra which was still buried in the wall. He rubbed his eyes and quickly took his eyes off it as its light was too harsh for his eyes to accommodate. He turned to the other side, turning his back against it, he wanted to get more sleep, but as he turned, he saw that it was already morning. "Oh no, it's morning already," he whispered to himself as he turned, his back now on the floor. He tucked his hair behind his left ear and sniffled as his nose picked up such a nice aroma, it smelled like food, actual food which they haven't had ever since they escaped Ivádia. "Do I smell food, or this is all a dream?" He muttered to himself as his eyes roamed the wall of the cave. "I think it's coming from outside," he concluded as he did not see anything which actually looked like food in his cave. his mouth watered and his stomach rejoiced as he got up quickly and walked hurriedly out of his cave. Immediately he reached outside,
TOWER OF IVÁDIA Nika was sitting on the high arm chair which was just beside her bed in her new room. This was her mother's room, and the room for every coven leader that has passed. The chair signified authority. She was reading a spell book and her eyes moved quickly from it to the door at the creaking of the door. “Aunt Cayetana,” Nika muttered as her eyes fell back to the page she was reading which has a diagram of a snake coming out of a mud pot in it, with some spell line scribbled with black ink beside the diagram. “Give yourself some rest Nika!” Aunt Cayetana said in a slow but forceful way, showing strong concern and worry. She came to sit on Nika's bed but Nika didn't even look at her face for once as she was extraordinarily focused on the spell book she planned on finishing before the war ahead with the dragons. “You are not going to win this war by plucking your eyes out on reading spell books. You should bear it in mind that this war is not yours to fight alone. We
MOUNT SICA After the long journey through the sea, they saw a huge mountain below them with green vegetation surrounding it. The leaves of the shrubs and the grasses below their wings fluttered, and the feeble branches and stems snapped as they find a place to land. Elvio landed first, and then Dalmatius, and Dominick. "Mount Sica!" Dalmatius said as they were closer to the mountain, and there was no much distance from the height they were hovering from the top of the mountain. With their clothes between their claws, they landed and found places to hide themselves before shifting back to humans. Iasias hid behind one side of the mountain and transformed back into human. He picked up his trousers and slot in his legs quickly, he picked up his shirt and threw it over his head. "We have no much time, the sun is setting!" Iasias shouted to them as he came out from behind his side of the mountain. "This is going to be a long journey by foot," Dalmatius said as he walked out from hi
