CHAPTER FOURTY-SEVEN
MOUNT SICA—CAVES OF EFLIE

This was probably the last night. On other days Iasias would be far asleep by this time of the night, but he would want to make an exception. He did not know what would happen tommorow, so it would be a lot better if he spent the night better than any other night.

His broken arm was still causing him so much pain, and the wounds on his back was becoming even fresher, as it continued to produce the green fluid, which he believed was the dragon’s blood. Once it stopped flowing, he was gone.

He picked up a stick and he started to scribble a few names on the ground. Names of people who were dear to him, the amazing people he have met.

Amyas and Helena were the first name on his list. Knowing his father and mother were the only good thing life brought forth to him ever since he was born. And even in captivity, they made him feel as if he was a prince.

The three other names that followed were Elvio, Dalmatius, and Domminick, who were basically the only friend
