TOWER OF LIVADIA --CONFERENCE ROOMNIKA'S POVI barge into the conference hall and my eyes first meets the ceiling as I try to hide the tears in my ears. I blink at the ceiling as I take a long, deep breath. My eyes move from the ceiling to the floor, and then to my sisters who are sitting in the chairs encircling a wooden table.“Have I not known Isidora at her old age, I would have thought she was the one walking towards us right now. You are as beautiful as your mother when she was as young as you are now,” Sister Grindila says to me and I force a smile on face. “Thank you sister,” I whisper.“Welcome to Livádia sisters.”“Spare us the formalities. We may have come from other lands, but we are still sisters. Groilandiá, Livádia, Vrochí and Spiliá, all are our homes,” Sister Katerina says and I nod with a smile as I take a sit.“You have done us proud beyond thanks,” sister Lydia grabs my hand over the table and I nod.“I was there at that same night, but much earlier than when yo
TOWER OF LIVÁDIAVARIA'S POVI hate the dragons for what they have brought upon sister Nika. It is night now, I look through my window and I see our sisters coming from Spiliá coming through the gate. Grindila and Lydia have long gone back to their coven, but Katerina remains. For now, it is like a merge, Spiliá will join us for now until Nika comes back to support our course. I pick up my cloak and I slot in my hands quickly. It flutters behind me as I approach the dungeon. They are four of them, and I can't tell which room the one named Iasias is. I reach the door to the first dungeon I halt. The keys are dangling in my hand, but the I don't feel the person behind the door is who I want to meet. I move to the second door and I still don't feel like slotting in the key. I approach the third door and my countenance changes. I gasp as I place my hand on the door. There is a strong feeling attached to this particular room. I feel like whoever is behind the door holds something of min
TOWER OF LIVÁDIANIKA'S POVI stand by my window, watching the moon. I have been crying, and it has gotten to the point where I feel like there are no tears in my eyes to be cried out anymore. Just sniffling. I hear a knock on my door and I turn to it quickly."Thank goodness you are here Varia. I'm sorry for everything, I'm sorry for ignoring you earlier today when you tried to apologise. Please don't let this happen, don't let Iasias be killed," I plead with her as she passes through the boundary and walks in."I heard that he would be killed by this tomorrow. If you've ever seen me as your sister, do me this favor," I plead again and she ignores me as she continues to walk towards me. When it is just a small distance between us, she runs to embrace me, breaking into tears."I wish none of this had happened. I wish they'll let you out of here. I miss you so much, and you're the only one whom I know would understand me," she cries in my arms and I kiss her on the head."Shhh! It's o
TOWER OF LIVÁDIAVARIAS’ POV After sisters Katerina ordered me to bed, I only pretended to have fallen asleep when she passed by my door and checked on me. As soon as she walks pass. I stand to my feet and I sneak out of the inner gate to see Iasias. When I reach the dungeon, I open the gate cautiously to avoid another ear from hearing it.IASIAS’ POV I'm in deep pain. My broken thumbs and my bleeding wrists won't let me find some sleep. The cuffs keep pushing against the cut and it causes me to lose more blood. It is quiet, so I can listen to every drop that touches the floor. The door opens and I see a shadowy figure approaching me. It is her, she lights a torch and holds it in her left hand.“You are ok!” I mutter, baffled but glad. “You seem glad, why?” She asks.“You could have ran,” she says to me.“The castle is still under a cloak,” I reply.“You could have used my own knife against me, but you didn't. Why?” She asks.“I’m not a killer. I don't pl
DWELLERS OF THE EASTDAHLIA’S POVWe watch a red fog rise to the moon. This is a sign. A sign that shows that the fall is near now more than ever. “It is time. Time to journey across the lands to seize our birthrights from the witches of Livádia. The fall has almost come, we rise!” Elena declares.“Let the air that fills my long be not poison, let the breaths of the trees which raised us be our torch,” we all declare, and we move. Livádia is far north of the grasslands, and it will take us at least to nights to reach. .We begin our journey even though it is night. Neither the wild beasts nor the shadows can cross our paths. TOWER OF LIVÁDIAIASIAS’ POV I'm still sitting in the dungeon with Varia sitting beside me. Both leaning on the wall behind us. My knees are raised, her legs are straightened. We can't seem to find a way to tell each other about everything that has happened in our lives in one night. We clearly don't know anything a
ISLE OF AZARIASIAS’ POVMy eyes meet the moon. I takes me moments before realizing that the can't be a moon in a dungeon. The realization of this makes me realize that I'm no longer in the dungeon. I recall the argument I had with Varia. I recall the part where I began to lose my consciousness. I'm weak, it seems like the spell Varia cast on me has side effects. I can't even move my legs without yawning, as though I had been working on the fields. The dungeon is not the only place I'm no longer in, I'm also no longer in Livádia. The ground surrounding me is wet, I don't think the wetness is caused by rain. Its moisture makes it stick to my body. I smell something, I smell a Blosae: A flower which can only grow on an island. I have not been on an island before, but I have seen it before when my mother used to work for the witches in the garden. They had only one of it, and it took them years of nursing it before it grew successful as the climate was not
TOWER OF LIVÁDIAKATERINA’S POV It's morning, I just got up from bed and I haven't even looked into the mirror. I haven't been taken care of myself lately as a woman bearing a child in her stomach should. I stand with my loose garment in front of the mirror and I place my hand gently on my stomach and I sigh. I reach for the wooden cup which contains water from last night, resting on the table and I gulp down the water in it. The cup slips off my hand as the door flings open and I'm startled. It is Varia. She has a fierce look on her face and she seem like she has a lot in her heart to pour out. She has not spoken a word ever since she entered, she has only been glaring at me. “You know, there is a door before a room for a reason,” I say to her, turning back to the mirror —still placing my hand on my stomach. “That wouldn't be your door if Nika was here. Why are you taking everything away from her?” She asks.“That was harsh young lady. Me taking over Nika’s r
ISLE OF AGAR The smell of alcohol is what brought me back to consciousness. I open my eyes and I smack my head to resist the headache. Sunlight smites my eyes and I quickly shield them from from its intensity. I try to get up but I can't, instead I roll down the tiny bed I found myself lying on. I groan as I drop heavily to the floor. I lie on my back and my eyes wander the whole room. It is small, there's a red carpet at its center, a rocking chair backing the wall opposite me, several cloaks hanging on an iron rod, a mahogany stool and a ragged curtain at its door. I manage to get up and I trudge towards the door cautiously. My hand sweeps the curtain and I step out of the room. There's an old man by the fire just in front of the room. There's a black pot hanging above the the fire, I peep and I see that there's a liquid bubbling in the pot, the smell of alcohol is strongest in this region so I believe the liquid in the pot is the source of the smell
