CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE
TOWER OF IVÁDIA

Nika was outside the Inner gate, taking a stroll around the compound with Althea. Some of their sisters were walking past them, and others were having a good time by sitting around and letting the morning wind graze their skins.

Althea was nibbling on a red apple as she walked beside Nika.

“About the dream, what is your next plan?” She asked and Nika turned to her.

“We heard how the dwellers of the east slayed the dragons, and we also know that we can't slay them or cause them harm by using our powers. You saw what happened out there, the day that Mother and Amaia passed, I flung two spears towards it and they were shattered the moment they touched its skin... It shows that no weapon can penetrate its skin,” Nika said to her and she stopped nibbling on her apple and looked to her.

“So, what are you trying to say?” She asked with such curiosity, and in certainty that Nika already had a plan in mind.
