Davies stuck his school bag on his back. He clutched his luggage and walked out of the room. He had waken up very early in the morning, taken his bath and eaten his breakfast. He stuck the slices of bread inside his mouth quickly and drank his tea.

When he got to the sitting room, he could see Alfred and Magdalene, clutching Edwin. He dropped his luggage beside the couch and sat down.

“I guess you are set for your new school?” Alfred said.

“Yes, dad. I couldn’t sleep all through the night. I am desperate to be in the creative writing school,” Davies said, and gazed at Magdalene who was breastfeeding Edwin.

“I see. It’s a boarding school and I want you to behave like the disciplined child you’ve always been.”

“Why would you doubt him, Alfred? He has always been a good child,” Magdalene said and raised her head.

“I am not talking to you, darling. Davies, I hope you heard what I said?” Alfred said.

“Yes, dad. I will miss everyone,” Davies
