Different thoughts were running through her mind. She had left home for Sarah’s house in the morning. She told Sarah about her ordeal. Sarah was so shocked. She told Magdalene that Alfred and Davies had left for home the previous night. Magdalene became more worried. She had returned home and refused to eat. Edwin walked into the sitting room and met Magdalene. Edwin sat beside Magdalene and said, “Mum, you can’t continue like this. You taught me to pray in every situation, but here you are thinking. You don’t have to cause more havoc.”“I couldn’t take it anymore. I have tried Alfred’s and Davies’ phone numbers several times, but they weren’t going through. She had branched to the mall to buy popcorn and groundnuts as soon as she left Edwin’s school. She took out the popcorn and the groundnut from the bag and started consuming them. After she consumed everything, she became bored. She turned on the television and started gazing at the actions displayed on the television screen. It was an episodic film. Magdalene had watched the first and the second episodes of the film. The actions of the film hadn’t reached the climax, so she had hoped to watch the third episode of the film one day. She visited the cassette store two days ago. She had gone to buy an interesting film when she saw the third episode of the film she had been longing to watch. When he returned to his room, he glanced through his phone’s screen and saw two missed calls. He became worried when he discovered that Alfred was the caller. He wondered why Alfred would call him in the morning. However, when Gino and Gina came into the room, he borrowed Gino’s phone and gave Alfred two peep calls. Luckily, Alfred called Gino’s number. Alfred never knew who owned the phone number, so Davies quickly introduced himself.“Magdalene has given birth to a bouncy baby boy.” These were Alfred’s words before he cut the call that morning. Davies was sitting under the marquee. It just rained so everywhere looked wet. Davies dialed Gina’s number and waited for Gina to pick up the call. As soon as Davies ate his breakfast, he tidied up the clutter. He started from the sitting room. Next, he tidied the clutter of Edwin’s room before he tidied his own room. He was flipping through the pages of a photobook and was so engrossed as he did these simultaneously. “Could this Lord of the Moon be real?” he muttered to himself when he got to the tenth page of the Lord-of-the-Moon-Photo-Book. All of a sudden, he spotted a picture on page twelve. “I’m going to visit the Lord of the Moon someday for power. I want to be the most powerful in this kingdom,” he thought. His eyebrows were raised up as if they were parts of his vocal organs. “You haven’t eaten the food I placed on the table?” Sarah said as she sauntered to the sitting room. “Yes, Sarah. I am going through this historical book. I will munch the food when I am done,” Gilbert said, and flipped to the next page. “What do you want to get from this photo book? It contains records of the past…,” Sarah said and sat down on one of the sofas. The sofa was very close to where Gi
