“Mum, how did it go?” Queen Mackenzie said as soon as she got to the sitting room. She gazed at Amelia’s face, but Amelia refused to say a word. “Mum, I just asked you a question, but you didn’t answer me. Your eyeballs are reddish; what’s going on, mum? Talk to me,” Queen Mackenzie said, and sat down beside Amelia on the couch.

“I’m doomed!” Amelia said and burst into an uncontrollable tear. “C’mon, mum; I don’t seem to understand you,” queen Mackenzie said. “I am a victim of fraud,” Amelia said.

Queen Mackenzie stood up from the couch and said, “Fraud? How?” “I have been scammed by Gael and his gangsters,” Amelia said tearfully. “Tell me you are joking, mum,” queen Mackenzie said and shook her head. “I am serious, Mackenzie,” Amelia said and gazed at queen Mackenzie’s face.
