Rain spun around, her heart pounding. Marco stood there, his expression unreadable.

"Marco," she stammered, "I was just... looking for something to eat."

Marco raised an eyebrow, a sly smile creeping onto his face. "At this hour? Interesting choice."

Rain forced a laugh. "I couldn't sleep. and I thought I would give Vincenzo some room to rest.”

He stepped closer, his eyes scanning her face. "You look tense. Everything alright with you?"

"Just... everything that's happening with the family. It’s a lot to take in," she said, hoping to deflect his attention.

Marco nodded, his gaze lingering. "I understand. It's been a rough time for all of us. But I want you to know, Rain, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here."

Rain shifted uncomfortably. "Thanks, Marco. I appreciate it."

He leaned in slightly, his voice dropping to a murmur. "You know, I've always admired your strength. And your beauty."
