Missed
Toward the night. The rain had stopped a while ago and left puddles on some parts of the road. The paved roads which are only enough for two small vehicles, surrounded by the tall grass and empty land on both sides. There are no buildings nearby, far from the crowds, not even enough lighting. Just one street lamp is lit among the other along the very deserted small road, which was very rarely passed by people.

The silver sedan stopped at the side of the road. The engine was still running, and someone sat behind the steering wheel while smoking a cigarette, sending smoke billowing into the air.

"Fuh"

It's Thomas. He was alone there, out of nowhere but his clothes looked dirty and wet, he pulled his messy hair up on top of his head. The man threw away the remaining half of his cigarette butt and turned the steering wheel to continue his way down the deserted path.
