Back to Dakota's apartment downtown. Sam didn't really want to go back there after Dakota disappeared two months ago, but he still had some of his stuff in there, and anyway, Kim thought he should stay in there and keep it clean until Dakota came back. That person might come back there at any moment.

This is ridiculous, Sam thought, taking a deep breath as he sat down on the couch in the living room where he and Dakota used to spend time together. Was Dakota mad at him because he didn't try to find him? He had tried, but since he was in good hands Sam thought he wouldn't try very hard to find him.

Sam looked at the mug that was still on the living room table, Dakota's drinking mug. He smiled, the man must be very angry when he found out he had not cleaned the glass for two months.
