Monday morning at the police headquarters.

Dakota had just connected with Robert through his laptop screen. Robert had a substitute class that morning and asked Dakota for advice before starting.

Sam approached, bringing Dakota’s coffee order and placing it on the table. The steam rising from it carried a delicious aroma that made Dakota turn his head, but he ignored Sam, simply reaching for his coffee.

“Yeah, starting from chapter twenty-five, before that in section fifteen about comparative classes, there are several cases that need to be elaborated on. Usually, I give the students time to form groups to analyze the behavior of the perpetrators from previous cases…” said Dakota.

Rina and Aries walked into the room.

Immediately, the petite girl approached Sam.

“Boss, we managed to get the warrant to collect the CCTV footage from the Diamond and Fields buildings. We’ll head there right away, boss,” Rina exclaimed. Sam nodded while sipping his hot coffee.
