The Drug
"Dakota, baby! Where are you now?" Elena's voice was loud and sounded anxious.

"I'm at the police station, why El?" asked Dakota.

"I'm coming over, don’t go anywhere, I’ll pick you up, oh babe, thank goodness you’re okay."

Dakota furrowed his brow; he hadn’t even told anyone about his involvement in this case, but Elena sounded really worried.

"Elena, what’s going on? I’m fine, I’m at the police station, what could happen here? I’m working, you don’t need to come here, bye."

Sam approached right after the call with Elena ended. The young detective frowned at Dakota’s very serious expression.

"Hey, what’s up? Who called? You seem really serious."

Dakota glanced at Sam for a moment.

"Did you tell Elena about the video online?"

Sam shook his head quickly.

"No, why would I do that? Who’s Elena?"

Dakota knew that, but he still had to ask, which made Sam frown even more at Dakota’s serious demeanor. That look was typical of Dakota when he was deep in thought about a case
