The clacking of Megan's heels came to an abrupt halt in front of the attendant and Amy, and her anger immediately burst out like boiling hot lava.

"How horribly inefficient is this hospital?" she shouted, her voice dripping with frustration.

"It has been so long, and the patient's details haven't yet been logged into the system even till now. Do you know how much difficulty I had to face in finding him? Because apparently, your receptionist has no idea which patient has even been brought in!"

To her credit, the attendant simply refused to bow down in the face of Megan's anger, and met her gaze without a trace of fear in her body language.

"Excuse me, ma'am? Who are you with?" she retorted.

Megan pointed angrily towards the door marked, her frustration reaching its peak.

"Room 216, of course!" she exclaimed, her voice laced with indignation.

But before Megan could unleash the full force of her fury, the attendant cut her off with a pointed rebuttal.
