Ch-116: Brunch

The cafe that the families had chosen for the brunch meeting featured floor to ceiling glass walls, that offered mesmerizing views of vibrant coral reefs and other exotic sea creatures.

The overall ambience is supposed to mimic an underwater paradise, with colorful marine life swimming gracefully around them. Even the centrepieces on the tables were shaped like corals.

As Megan and Jack entered the cafe, Megan was strutting ahead with confidence, her head held high. Jack followed closely behind, his senses on alert as the entire restaurant was empty except for one person sitting at a table.

The man rose from his seat as soon as he saw Megan, and even from across the room, it was visible that he was wearing an obnoxious printed golden shirt that screamed money but no class.

Megan's eyes narrowed slightly as she approached the person, but maintained her composed exterior, giving away nothing of her inner thoughts.

On coming closer, it seemed like the man was almost similar in height
