22. Flying On the Back of Dragon

Flying on the back of a dragon was on my bucket list, and it had already been accomplished. I'd buried that dream when Adellia wouldn't tell me if dragons existed or not. And yet, here I was, floating in the vastness of space, clinging to the sides of Delilah's t-shirt as my trembling body kept me from swaying.

"Woohoo, this is LIFE!" Delilah shouted as loud as she could with a big smile on her face.

I wanted to match her attitude if I could, but my eyes were already stinging from the wind. No matter how well I had adapted to this world, I was still a human from another world.
