Due to Mrs. Smith's tyrannical nature, my increasingly rumbling stomach was becoming unbearable. Eventually, I bought a loaf of bread to eat at her grocery store. Fortunately for her, I didn't even willingly trade the bronze coin, which turned out to be only enough to buy a slice of bread and a strawberry-flavored candy.

Of course, that wasn't enough to satisfy my hunger. I considered exchanging the gold coin, but I had to wait for the right time so Mrs. Smith wouldn't find out. I also had to quickly pay off my debts to free myself from her clutches.

"Hey, deliver this to Mr. Gunter's stall!" I had only sat down for a moment when Mrs. Smith yelled, placing a bag of groceries that I had to deliver.

It only contained raw food ingredients like vegetables, which were very appetizing in my hungry state. However, I quickly hurried to deliver them, not because I obeyed Mrs. Smith's command, but so I wouldn't have to stay in her store for too long.
