CHAPTER 89
When Arthur got to Thomas Bolton's residence, he was greeted by a number of guards at the front gate.

Arthur frowned at the sight of the numerous guards that manned the gates. Yes, he knew that Thomas was a notorious crime Lord and he needed to be protected, but the number of men manning the gates were way more than he had expected.

Or was something wrong?

Arthur shoved his thoughts aside with a shrug and walked right past the first guard.

"Stop there," The guard grunted. "Who are you and what business do you have here?"

Arthur spun around slowly, hoping to intimidate the guard with his presence, but he was shocked when the guard kept a straight face even upon seeing who he was.

"Do you not know who I am?" Arthur asked, gesticulating.

"I don't care who you are, but if you don't state your business here immediately, you'll be sorry," The guard grunted in response.

Arthur stared at him and realized he was serious. His firm grip on the pistol in his hand said enough.
