Meanwhile, the dwarfs who were getting recovered from the peculiar epidemic were ordered by Lucius to be back to work. After general body checking, Lucius decided to pick only five dwarves who were allowed to go back to the cave.

They were all glad about this arrangement, and some of them were still groaning and moaning in pain. But one dwarf man suddenly became angry when Lucius mentioned that only five were allowed to leave. Lucius raised his eyebrow, “Why so, Grumby? Do you feel like complaining?”

The dwarf looked at Lucius with fury, “no, Your Excellency. We wouldn’t dare!” he spoke loudly, “but… I have five children and a wife who needs my concern and I have to get paid to feed them."

Lucius looked around, and all dwarfs stopped talking and lowered their heads while avoiding looking directly at Lucius. This old dwarf sighed and then made the final decision.

The Opa dwarf chose two more dwarfs with the most family member to go back to work so they could get paid and feed their fam
