The next morning, Andrew and Alexa both woke, worry evident on their faces as they ate breakfast. Roisin had been missing for 12 hours now, and Maahas had not returned her or claimed his men.

“Andrew…” Alexa hedged as they ate breakfast, the chair to the left noticeably for its emptiness, “We are going to get her back, right?”

Andrew pondered his eggs as he thought. “Liam has had men out all night. The city knows we are looking. He should have a location for Maahas for me shortly. when the call comes, we will take the men, and visit his lair in person,” Andrew said, trying hard to push steel into his words.

Alexa glanced at the empty chair, and pushed food around her plate.

Andrew’s phone rang and they both jumped. “Liam, tell me you have something.”
