As they walked out, Andrew laden down with bags, Anika said, “hey at least I didn’t kill anyone.”
Andrew shivered because he had seen her come off the battlefield more than once drenched in blood. Asrana may be the queen of Ice and have a stare that can freeze you solid, but Anika was a true queen of death in every sense of the title.
“Where to now?” asked Anika as they wondered out.
“Well, I need to get these delivered to wherever you are staying because we came on the bikes. Then I need a shower before the banquet.” Said Andrew.
With a sly smile, Anika said, “Don’t have to ask me twice.”
A shrill whistle was all it took to summoned a nearby transport car.

Anika dressed in a sleek black full-length gown with a golden dragon emblazoned up the length of the back and ending near the left shoulder. The Dragon was edged with red closest to the gold body, and a thin silver band traced the outside of the red. On her right shoulder adjacent to the dragon head, was a red series of knotwork, edged in silver. This Symbol was unique to Andrew’s Dragon squad, who had each become gods of war and the Dragon Order that had formed around them. For those who knew the symbol and the power in denoted, it was a badge of honor. Few were permitted to wear this emblem and to do so without permission was an act that carried the death penalty.
