As the weeks went by, Danny and Wulf's friendship blossomed. The two were very much compatible with many similar interests.
"Wulf," Danny began one afternoon.
"Hm?" Wulf turned to him.
"This might be a bit rude of me, however..."
He then chuckled.
"May I cut your hair?" He asked.
"Eh?" Wulf looked at him, bewildered.
"Forget it, Danny!" Wulf pouted.
"Oh, come now, it's just..." He looked down, smiling.
"That look best suits a delinquent; you and I both know that is not the case." He laughed.
"Which brings me to my next selfish question," his tone suddenly shifting to a more serious one.
"Is everything alright at home, Wulf...?"
Wulf's eyes widened.
"M-mm..." He mumbled, looking down steadily.
"Wulf..." Danny whispered.
"I can see the bruises on your arm..." He said, placing a hand on Wulf's head.
Wulf began to shake.
"Please, Danny..." His voice trembling.
"I
Come the following days; there weren't all too many at Danny's wake in the end."How sad..." A distant relative whispered, dabbing her eyes with a handkerchief."How could we have let this happen..." Another muttered.Wulf kept his head steadily down."Excuse me," a man began, gently placing a hand on Wulf's shoulder. The man's voice had a familiar sound to it in a chilling sense.Wulf quickly spun around, met by a man who looked very similar to his old friend."Y-yes...?" The boy squeaked."Well, first of all, I'm so thankful you were able to come; dealing with death at such a young age is..." The man narrowed his eyes."Truly despicable..." He muttered."Anyway, my apologies, young Wulf," the man continued."It's just," the man began, unraveling a crumpled piece of paper from his pants pocket."Danny's suicide letter happened to be addressed to you," the man smiled sadly."I'm his older brot
"Wulf..." Caitlin whispered."No worries, I know he's watching over me every day, which is why I have total faith that these girls will all make it to graduation." He grinned."Your optimism is such a breath of fresh air," Caitlin sighed in relief."And it's exactly what these girls have always needed." She smiled softly."Wulf," she continued."I put my complete faith in you to get these girls moving in the right direction," Caitlin said."However, there will be days when you'll doubt yourself or feel your patience wearing thin," she continued."But, I suppose that's what being a teacher is all about, right?" She beamed."Nah," Wulf began."Eh?" Caitlin cocked her head."Trust me; I know what I got myself into when I started teaching," he said."I know there will be days when these girls make me want to rip my hair out to the point where I'm bald," he chuckled."But," he narrowed his eyes."I
The next day as Wulf's class took a test, there was a knock at the door.As Wulf peeked out the windowpane, he noticed the principal and a young girl. The principal signaled Wulf out into the hallway."Hello," he smiled."Mr. Wulf," the principal began."As you may have noticed, your attendance sheet has thirteen names," she paused."Meet your mysterious thirteenth student, Terra.""Ah!" Wulf clapped his hands together."A pleasure to finally meet you, Terra!" Wulf beamed."Thank you..." she mumbled."I'll take my leave then," the principal announced, walking away."Well then, Terra, the rest of the class is currently taking a test; of course, I won't make you do so on your first day,"Wulf cleared his throat."I'll get some worksheets ready for you then." Wulf smiled as the two stepped foot into the classroom. As the two walked in, a few of the girls glanced up."Focus," Wulf mo
As Wulf's class was busy studying for the upcoming exams, an announcement came on the loudspeaker."Students and faculty; for our senior classes, please don't forget to submit your votes in for a class representative." The voice announced as the loudspeaker clicked off."Eh?" Wulf looked around the room."D-did any of you girls know about this?""Mmm?" Sunny cocked her head."All senior classes are supposed to pick a class representative to represent their respective classes during exams, meaning," Madison narrowed her eyes."We need to choose wisely and pick our strongest minded student who can excel in the majority of the academic fields...""Does that include gym class?" Nono questioned."Clearly, we're not picking you," Bebe scoffed."H-hey!" Nono cried."Well, if that's the case..." Kiara began."Why don't we just have Mr. Wulf pick one of us?" She suggested."True, he knows all of our grades an
As Sunny walked up to her house's front door, she was met by her report card taped to the door.Hesitantly opening the door, she noticed the lights were out."Mom, dad...?" She called out.No response. She then noticed a note on the fridge.Taking Luna out for dinner to celebrate her A's.-MomSunny felt a lump in her throat.Why... Why do they have to mock me, even when I'm trying my best...?Tears trickled down her face. Without much thought, she ran to a drawer containing scissors."I'll show them..." She growled, clutching the scissors.*As Wulf was greeting his students before class, a girl bumped into him."Ah, sorry about that," he turned to notice the last person walking in was Sunny."Sunny...?" Wulf called out.Ignoring him, Sunny plugged her headphones in."Maci," she began."What's that band that you like?"Maci quickly turned around, ta
After a few weeks passed by, Sunny's aloof attitude continued."Don't forget, ladies; next week starts the string of big exams that you guys have to take," he paused."Meaning; on each test, you'll need at least a sixty-five or higher; however," he grinned."Our little class of oddities is an exception, you see,""Eh?" Kiara cocked her head."How so...?" Madison asked."Well, let's just say somebody, me, vouched for you guys that you are all trying your hardest and that if you pass at least two of the tests, you will make it to graduation, no questions asked!""However!" Wulf continued."I am fully aware that a couple of you struggle with at least two of the core subjects, which is why..." Wulf tapped his fingers on Yu's desk as if performing a drum roll."Huh...?" Yu looked up lethargically."I will be offering after-school tutoring!" He beamed."You really have nothing better to do with your life, huh?" B
Upon arriving at the café, the trio took a seat at a booth near a window."So..." Sunny began."What was it you wanted to tell us, Mr. Wulf...?""Ah," Wulf looked up from his notebook."Why don't we have our tutoring session first, then I'll spill, 'kay?" He grinned."Sure..." Sunny whispered."Mmm!" Olivia nodded."Both of you are struggling with the same two subjects; math and science, which is pretty convenient, huh?" Wulf chuckled."Anyway, let's begin!" Wulf cheered, raising a glass."A toast...?" Sunny cocked her head."To graduation!" Wulf cried."To graduation...!" Olivia cried.Sunny closed her eyes, smiling."You guys sure are embarrassing, but...""To graduation!" Sunny cried.Wulf's eyes widened as their glasses clinked.Just now... That gleam in her eyes..."Yes, Sunny!" Wulf cried."That's the enthusiasm we all missed so much...!
The week flew by much to everybody's dismay as it meant the start of exam week."Madison, don't blow this for us!" Bebe cried."Quit pressuring her already!" Kiara scolded."Students and faculty, the exams will start in fifteen minutes," a voice coming from the loudspeaker announced before clicking off."Great..." Nono grumbled."Sunny..." Olivia whispered, tapping her shoulder."We've got this...!" She reassured."Mmm!" Sunny gave a firm nod."Okay everyone, let's put our notes away," Wulf said. The class groaned."What's the first test anyway?" Terra asked."Science!" Wulf grinned."Oh..." Madison muttered."Don't lose hope, Madison!" Goo cried.*After what seemed like forever, the fifteen minutes before the exam were finally up."Oh, gosh..." Nono mumbled."It's time..." Daisy whispered."Everybody relax; you guys have got this!" Wulf reassured."J
