As Wulf was writing on the board, the phone in his classroom rang.
"Teach, the phone," Nono called out.
"Ah, thanks, Nono!" Wulf said, quickly placing the chalk down and running towards the phone.
"Hello?" Wulf answered.
"Yes...you want me to send her down?" He questioned.
"Wait, really?" He continued.
"Okay, I'll send her then," he said, placing the phone back onto its mount.
"Sunny!" Wulf began.
"Do you mind heading towards the principal's office to run an errand for us, please?"
The class suddenly shifted their attention to Sunny.
"Oh, sure!" Sunny said, quickly standing up.
"I'll be back!" She cried, closing the door behind her.
"Now, back to our fun little lesson!" Wulf grinned.
*
As she reached the principal's office, Sunny peaked her head in.
"Ms. Principal, an oddity is here," the secretary called out.
"Hmph!" Sunny puffed her cheeks.
"Perfect, send her in." The principal instructed.
"You can enter," the secretary directed.
"M-mm..." Sunny nodded as she walked into the principal's office.
"Miss Sunny," the principal turned to her.
"Starting from this moment on, you and your fellow peers have a new classmate," she began, pointing to the barely conscious Yu.
"Guide her to her new classroom, would you please?" The principal asked.
"O-of course!" Sunny nodded her head.
"Um..." she frowned.
"Is she awake...?" Sunny asked, laughing nervously.
"Beats me, just tap her," the principal sighed, pinching her sinuses.
"Excuse me...?" Sunny whispered, poking Yu.
"Hm...?" Yu mumbled, rubbing her eyes.
"Hi, there!" Sunny waved.
"Are you ready to head down to our class?" She asked.
"M-mm..." Yu nodded, slowly standing up.
"Thank you, dear." The principal waved as the girls exited.
*
Upon arriving back at the room, Sunny knocked on the door.
Wulf quickly opened the door.
"Ah, welcome back, Sunny!" He smiled.
"And you are...?" He asked, turning to Yu.
"Yu," Yu answered.
Wulf stood there a minute.
"Oh, Yu!" He chuckled.
"Well, welcome to our cozy little classroom, Yu!" He beamed.
"There's an empty desk in the front row if you're okay with that," Wulf began, as he pointed to the empty desk next to Madison.
"Madison, would you be so kind as to catch Yu up with our lesson?" He asked.
"Of course." Madison nodded.
"Awesome, thanks a lot." Wulf smiled.
"Now then, have a seat if you would, Yu!" Wulf said, turning back to the board.
"Mmm..." Yu mumbled, taking a seat, placing her head on the desk.
"Yu?" Madison whispered, tapping her.
"Eh?" Yu slowly lifted her head.
"Y-you just seemed like you were falling asleep, my apologies..." Madison frowned.
"Ah..." Yu lethargically nodded.
"Madison, you're doing it again," Bebe frowned.
"Doing what?" Madison turned her head.
"Being the teacher's pet..." She said.
"Besides, let her sleep," Bebe began.
"This lesson is boring as hell." She grumbled.
"Girls?" Wulf called out without turning his head.
"Is there a problem?" He asked.
"N-no, sir!" Madison replied, glaring at Bebe before turning back around.
*
Shortly after the lesson, the dismissal bell rang.
"Finally!" Bebe groaned, walking towards the door.
"See ya," she waved to Wulf as she left.
Wulf quickly turned to Daisy.
"Did she just wave to me?" He asked.
"I believe so," Daisy said.
"Anyway, goodbye, for now, Mr. Wulf," she smiled as she exited the room.
"See you later, Daisy!" Wulf waved.
"Uh..." Wulf said, turning to Yu, who was fast asleep at her desk.
"Yu...?" He whispered, tapping her shoulder gently.
"Hm...?" Yu mumbled, lifting her head.
"School is over, kiddo..." Wulf said, chuckling nervously.
"Say, Yu, do you get enough sleep at home?" He asked.
"M-mm..." Yu nodded.
"I just started taking a new medicine," she said.
The doctor said I'd be drowsy for a while..."
"I see..." Wulf smiled.
"Well then," he said.
"See you later." He waved as Yu shut the door behind her.
"Speaking of medicine," Wulf grumbled, rummaging through his bag.
"There we go," he said, popping a pill in his mouth then quickly taking a swig of water.
"Please kick in soon." He muttered.
"These sinus headaches are killing me..." He sighed, shutting the lights and locking the door as he left.
As Bebe was walking home from class, she heard someone running. She turned her head to see Nono."Hey, I told you to wait!" Nono cried."Well, I didn't hear you..." Bebe grumbled."It's so warm out for the fall, isn't it?" Nono grinned."What's with you? Why are you in such a good mood today?" Bebe questioned, raising an eyebrow."I don't know; I guess because it's just so peaceful here..." Nono smiled sheepishly."Anyway," she began."I wanted to talk to you about-""Whatever it is, I don't have time." Bebe huffed."Well, if you let me talk,""I don't want to hear it..." Bebe warned."Bebe-""Listen!" Bebe cried, startling Nono."We're almost in high school now, and it's time for a change..." She narrowed her eyes."I..." She looked down steadily."I don't want to be a loser anymore...!" She cried.Nono's eyes widened. She opened her mouth then quickly shut it."Do
By the time Nono finally arrived home, it was already dark out. Unlocking the door to her house, she was greeted by no one, an only child with her father still at work who wouldn't be home for at least another couple of hours. Climbing the stairs, she went to her bedroom. Sitting on her bed, she looked around the room. "Mama..." She whispered. "What do I do...?" She bit her lip. "My best friend suddenly hates me; I have no friends at school..." "Plus, I'm in the class of oddities, automatically deeming me a freak..." Her voice began to shake. "Mama..." Tears began to well up in her eyes. "Tell me, what am I still doing here...?" She gulped as the lump in her throat swelled. "Please, mama, I miss you every single day..." She sniffled. "I promised you I'd stay strong, but..." "Was I ever really even strong in the first place...?" She smiled as tears began to run down her face.
Just as class was about to begin, Wulf began taking attendance."No, Nono today...?" He questioned.Bebe clenched her fists."Alright then, let's get started-""Sorry that I'm late, teach!" Nono cried, hustling through the door."Ah, there you are." Wulf smiled.Bebe looked steadily down as Nono took a seat at her desk next to her.*As Wulf was teaching, the bell rang, signaling the start of lunch."Man, I really have to get used to this bell system..." Wulf muttered as the girls packed up their belongings."Hey, Nono?" Wulf called out just as she was about to walk out the door."Hm?" She turned her head."Do you mind staying back for a second?" He asked."Not at all..." Nono chuckled nervously.Taking a seat on top of his desk, Wulf clapped his hands together."Now," he began."I'm sure there's no deeper meaning behind you being late," he paused.Nono froze.<
"Making a wish?" A voice called out.Startled, Wulf jumped up."C-Caitlin...!""Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you...!" She cried."You didn't come to the cafeteria with your class, so I just wanted to make sure you were ok...""Me?" He chuckled."Oh, I'm fine!" He beamed.Caitlin blushed."R-right...!" She nodded her head."Anyway...!" She cleared her throat."I was just wondering; do you maybe want to chat at the café again after school?""O-oh yeah, totally!" Wulf smiled."Great!" Caitlin giggled."I'll come to fetch ya after dismissal then!" She beamed."Sounds like a plan." Wulf chuckled, waving as Caitlin closed the door.*As Caitlin was heading back towards the cafeteria, she hummed to herself."Oh my..."Caitlin quickly jumped, turning to see Ms. Rouge sitting on a nearby staircase."H-hey, Rouge...!" Caitlin chuckled nervously."
As they got to the café and sat down at a booth, Wulf stretched his arms."Man, I'm famished!" He cried."Well, I can imagine since you didn't eat lunch!" Caitlin exclaimed with a giggle."What should we get today...?" Wulf mumbled."Hey, Wulf...?"Wulf looked up from the menu."Hm?""I hope I'm not prying too much, especially since it's our second da-" She paused."Our second time here...!" She quickly corrected herself."But, I've been wondering..." She narrowed her eyes."What made you become a teacher in the first place...?"Wulf's eyes widened. He opened his mouth to answer when a cool breeze swept through the open window."Danny...?" He whispered."Sorry I didn't catch that-""Oh, no, nothing, I was just talking to myself is all...!" Wulf chuckled nervously."What made me become a teacher...?" He repeated the question."M-mm...!" Caitlin nodded.
Roaming the hallways after summer school finished was a boy. The boy had a delinquent-like appearance, with a jet black mohawk to boot. His head was steadily down, in his arms, a bunch of books."It's the summer, and here I am stuck in this lousy hellhole..." He grumbled."At least the librarian let me borrow these to take home..." His eyes twinkled."But geez, these are heavy..." He muttered to himself."I take it you like to read?" A voice called out.The boy, who had thought he was alone, quickly spun around. As he turned around, he was met by a slender, pale young man standing in the doorway of a classroom."D-don't go getting the wrong idea; the old bat asked me to carry these for her...!" He cried."Oh?" The man lifted a brow."What a nice young man you are to go and help out!" He exclaimed, clapping his hands together. The boy blushed."L-listen...!" He stammered."Oh, is that the first
As the weeks went by, Danny and Wulf's friendship blossomed. The two were very much compatible with many similar interests."Wulf," Danny began one afternoon."Hm?" Wulf turned to him."This might be a bit rude of me, however..."He then chuckled."May I cut your hair?" He asked."Eh?" Wulf looked at him, bewildered."Forget it, Danny!" Wulf pouted."Oh, come now, it's just..." He looked down, smiling."That look best suits a delinquent; you and I both know that is not the case." He laughed."Which brings me to my next selfish question," his tone suddenly shifting to a more serious one."Is everything alright at home, Wulf...?"Wulf's eyes widened."M-mm..." He mumbled, looking down steadily."Wulf..." Danny whispered."I can see the bruises on your arm..." He said, placing a hand on Wulf's head.Wulf began to shake."Please, Danny..." His voice trembling."I
Come the following days; there weren't all too many at Danny's wake in the end."How sad..." A distant relative whispered, dabbing her eyes with a handkerchief."How could we have let this happen..." Another muttered.Wulf kept his head steadily down."Excuse me," a man began, gently placing a hand on Wulf's shoulder. The man's voice had a familiar sound to it in a chilling sense.Wulf quickly spun around, met by a man who looked very similar to his old friend."Y-yes...?" The boy squeaked."Well, first of all, I'm so thankful you were able to come; dealing with death at such a young age is..." The man narrowed his eyes."Truly despicable..." He muttered."Anyway, my apologies, young Wulf," the man continued."It's just," the man began, unraveling a crumpled piece of paper from his pants pocket."Danny's suicide letter happened to be addressed to you," the man smiled sadly."I'm his older brot
