"The painting shows a boat sinking in the vast ocean, which could symbolize struggle, loss, or something coming to an end. The ocean represents powerful forces like fate, emotions, or challenges, while the boat stands for human efforts or dreams," Anaya Mira tried to explain in simple words so Devansh could make sense of it.

"Okay... okay, I get it. It's a true work of art: a floundering disaster floating in a sea of failure. Just like me, a while back!" Devansh stopped Anaya from explaining more as he related to what the artist of this painting wanted to say. It clearly resonated with his life before he met the System.

"Huh... what do you mean...?" Anaya Mira asked with a confused expression, hearing Devansh's last words.

"It's nothing... by the way, you really know a lot about these arts!" Devansh shrugged and changed the topic by complimenting her.

"Hehe... it's just a little knowledge, not too impressive at all." Anaya smiled happily while trying to look like she didn’t care about the compliment.

After watching a few more impressive artworks, Devansh got bored quickly. He might have been interested if he knew a little about the meaning behind each artwork, but he had no taste for these things.

Anaya, who noticed this, decided to end their visit to the studio and go somewhere else.

"Alright, let's go and have dinner at that restaurant. It will be my treat for you!" Devansh said as he pointed at the restaurant situated not far from the studio.

"No... no, it was me who invited you today, so it's on me!" Anaya Mira shook her head and said with a small smile before leading him to the restaurant.

"Hmm... it's not bad, the atmosphere is cozy enough!" Devansh commented as he entered the restaurant and sat at an empty table.

"Alright, what would you like to order?" Anaya asked, gesturing towards the menu on the table.

"Hmm... no need, you can order for me, and I am not a picky eater." Devansh, who saw the fancy names on the menu, put it down immediately and gestured for Anaya to order for him.

He had no idea what those fancy-sounding names meant.

'What the hell is with these luxurious names? I have no idea what these dishes even look like,' Devansh screamed inside his head while keeping a smile outside.

"Alright then... waiter!" Anaya nodded before giving a quick look at the menu. She immediately called out to the waiter and listed a few names before the waiter went away to carry out the orders.

"So, Devansh, what plans do you have for this evening, or are you free?" Anaya asked as she put her hands below her chin and her beautiful eyes fluttered towards him.

"No, I don't have anything planned at all." Devansh replied, while in his head, he was thinking something else. 'Is this her plan? First, she made me lower my guard and earn my goodwill before inviting me for her main purpose.'

Devansh squinted his eyes. His mind was still reeling from the betrayal he had experienced from his ex-girlfriend, so he wasn’t really ready for a serious relationship and only acted like he was serious about Anaya. It was only to experiment with the System.

He never wanted to hurt anyone's feelings or play with her, as he knew full well what it meant to be played by someone.

Devansh also thought in his heart that Anaya was only attracted to him because of his wealth and that she was not sincere at all.

"Sure... no problem!" Devansh nodded as he accepted her invitation since he really didn’t have anything better to do.

"This is the first time I have seen this place. Is this really a bar?" Devansh asked as he looked at the place in surprise because nobody would say it was a bar from the outside.

The building looked like a well-established and high-end hotel, but when Anaya led him inside EchoBar, he realized what kind of luxurious services it provided.

"So this is a high-end bar," Devansh muttered, looking at the large hall filled with people wearing classy attire, accompanied by beautiful ladies.

He could tell at a glance that each one of them was ridiculously rich.

As for how he could tell—just from what they were wearing. Not just their clothes, but their accessories also made it obvious.

'That also means I can spend quite a lot of money here... nice,' Devansh thought in his head with a grin, giving a mental thumbs-up to Anaya's choice of place.

"Huh... this guy? Can he even afford it? Forget about this broke guy and enjoy the evening with me." The young man glanced disdainfully at Devansh, seeing how cheaply he was dressed, before completely ignoring him.

"Hey... Mister, can you give us two bottles of your most expensive wines?" Devansh, who couldn't help but sneer at the young man showing off in front of him, asked the sommelier to provide them with their most expensive wines.

"Does this guy have a screw loose? Doesn't he understand his situation...?" A few other young men were attracted to the commotion, commenting and laughing as they saw a pauper trying to flaunt in front of them.

"Hey, beauty... where did you pick him up? Just ditch that moron and come have fun with us." Those men sneered coldly at Devansh and spoke to Anaya in a playful tone.

"Hmph... you can't even amount to the toe of my friend here. What are you so proud of?" Anaya replied with a cold smile.

"Hahahaha... wow... damn, she has great confidence in this plebeian." The men laughed, hearing the confident tone of Anaya.

'These clowns are really annoying, buzzing like flies. Let's just get rid of them and slap them hard!' Devansh thought in his head with a mischievous grin before hiding it and gesturing for the sommelier to bring the wine bottles.

"Here, young man, how would you like to pay?" A middle-aged man appeared at their table and carefully put down the two premium wine bottles before asking in a warm tone, showing the hospitality of a professional sommelier.

"Here... swipe it." Devansh took out the Black Diamond Card and gestured for Anaya to pay the bill.
