"What's Damien doing on the stage?"

Damien felt a shadow towering over him. His eyes were shut, covered by the weary lids. He was still in a sleep state, though in the shallow sense. His brain was wide awake but his eyes were indifferent.

The silhouette which was specifically hovering over his face was another condition to consider. He flipped his eyes open.

When he did, he saw two red eyes staring dead at him in the eyes. He grunted and pushed his head to the side.

"How long did it take you?"

He wanted to push his body up from the soft bed but he felt claws in his chest. The force which pushed him back into the bed.

~ now what? Will you apologise right now or should I rip your face open?~

Damien looked back at the creepy red eyes of the wolf which was supposed to scare him. He who no longer knew what the word 'fear' meant. He had forgotten how to be scared.

"What kept you all night? Were you keeping a watch? You should have been done with it if you think you are up to the task."

~ you silly cocky fool...~
