Chapter 15

Rolling dice.

【Yes the user has unlocked rolling a dice, the user has two chances to roll a dice, is the user ready to use his chances now】

"Yes"

 Sky's response was immediately followed by the display of a dice board on the blue screen, along with an image of a die that appeared to be floating in the air above the board.

【The user can control the dice using the users thoughts telepathically】

Sky acted in accordance with the directives of the system, and the dice, which was floating in the air, began to move in reaction to the telepathic thoughts that Sky was giving to it.

He moved the dice all the way up to the point where he was going to drop them on the board.

As soon as the dice made contact with the board, he immediately lost control of them and was no longer able to move them 

When the dice fell on the board, the system's voice once again rang in his head.

【User has won a chance to enter a discarded dimension 】

T"A discarded dimension, i have never heard of anythinglike that before"

"System what is a discarded dimension"

【The user's level and strenght is too weak and is unable to obtain any information about discarded dimensions from system"

Sky expressed his disapproval to the system " calling me weak once gain, strangely I think this is simply an excuse so you don't tell me anything." 

On the other hand, the system did not reply to him in any way.

"If i do not even know, what a discarded dimensionis, how do i use this reward?"

【After conducting scan the system had found that they are no discarded dimensions nearby, system will continue scanning and user will be informed, immediately a discarded dimension is found】

"Well i just hope the discarded dimension isnt anything as scary as the training  site"

Sky came to the conclusion that he should not bother with the this reward because it was not something that he could acquire at this moment.

After controlling the dice once more, in the same fashion as before and then flinging it into the game board, this time he rolled it a total of six times before it letting it fall on the board, this was a new technique he was trying to increase his chances.

【The user has won two more chances to roll the dice】

"That's even possible", Sky could not contain hos excitement, the first reward he jad gotten from rolling the dice, even though he didnt really know what he had won, since the system was keeping a tight lid on it it was definately remarkable, and now through the dice he had won two more chances.

It cannot be denied that the function of the dice was without a doubt one of the most helpful things that he had gotten from the system.

On another occasion, he threw the dice, but this time he designed it such that they would travel in the air rolling more than 7 times before coming to rest on the board.

【User has won a low level equipment light sword 】

Instantaneously, in front of Sky, a lengthy blade that vaguely evoked a similar appearance of a light saber materialized.

"What!!

"I am even able to acquire real-world objects using the system?."

Sky was awestruck by the sword as it appeared infront of him; the blade appeared to be flawless, and there was a form of burning light that surrounded the entire sword. 

When Sky held the sword by its handle, a little blue screen suddenly emerged on the top  the weapon.

Sky was head over heels in love with this sword, and it wasn't even heavy; it had an attack power of 10, but at this time he didn't really know how powerful an attack strength of ten is, so he had to use it in order to find out how powerful it was.

Due to the fact that the sword did not weigh very much, he was able to utilize it in a wide variety of different ways.

Additionally, the light that covered the entirety of the blade appeared to be focused flames, which indicated that the sword was likely capable of slashing through whatever that was in its path like a light saber.

Because he didn't want to mess up his gym in any way with the laser sword, he kept the blade pointed in the direction of the sky.

He made the decision to roll the dice one more time, because he still had one more chance to do so, he could not help but guess about the outcome of this specific rolling of the dice.

During his third try, he learned how to completely control this dice, he rolled it so many times before allowing it to hot the board.

【The user had won a healing ointment】

The same thing occurred with the blade, and practically immediately after that, there emerged in front of Sky was a bottle that was floating in midair that held some kind of liquid.

Sky grabbed the bottle into his hands, and just as he was ready to open it, he was interrupted by the voice of the system.

【User has unlocked the inventory funtion】

Sky was agitated when he heard the word in invenyory.

"System What is the inventory ?" Sky quickly asked

【Whn a user get two physical ovjects frim the sytem, the inventory will be unlocked, the inventory is a space within the system where user can keep items"

" the fact that this function exists is a mystery to me!"

Sky was taken aback once more by the incredible nature of this system, when he first heard about inventory from the system, he was agitated becuse he had used an inventory before in a video game, and knew hoe usefull was.

"How do i usevthe inventory"

【User can either take or put in objects inside the inventory using, the user's thoughts, just like when the user controlled the dice, objects that are taken out of the inventody will either come out floating infront of the user, or appear around the user as he wills】

Sky quickly placed the blade in the inventory with his mind, and it disappeared almost immediately afterward. However, when he tried to remove it, it reappeared almost immediately, using lesser time it had disappeared 

It took him  a second to put the sword away and kess than another second to  retrieve it, with that kind of speed, he didn't have to worry about retrieving the sword when he was in the middle of a fight.

He experimented with bringing it out and then putting it away a few times to see how efficient it was in case he needed to bring it out during a battle.

After looking over the inventory, he made the decision to examine the healing ointment for the first time. When he unscrewed the top of the jar, a nice scent wafted out, and he came perilously near to consuming it there and then.

It is quite possible that this ointment possesses a higher healing value than the healing potions that are offered for sale by the Knights Order.

Because of the likelihood that it would lose part of its strength if it was exposed to air, he covered it, closed the lid, and then added it to the inventory. He was able to make an educated guess as to how expensive the ointment would be, if it was on sale in the Knights Order.

Sky could not help but want to test out his new ability and strenght on demons, he wanted to see how usefull the things the  system had given him were, including his newly discovered  strength, the sword, and even the oitment.

However, in order to do so, he needed to enter the demon grotto, and in order to do so, he needed to be assigned by the Order.

"It is hard for me to estimate how long it will be before I am given a task because the Order does not know my current strength."

Because of his former weakness, he was only ever sent to demon grottos on the off chance that a team needed a last-minute replacement or there was no one else who was capable of doing the job. It had taken him two weeks to get assigned to his most recent mission.

" Or should I tell them about the system? " he asked himself, despite the fact that he didn't even know what it was and only God knew what would happen to him if he divulged it. As soon as he thought about that option, he immediately disregarded it.

"If the system is just a form of ability, then everything will be great, but what if it isn't just a form of ability?

"I guess I'll have to go to the knights Order, and check if there is any kind of ability like the system"

Sky hurriedly took a shower in the restroom after rapidly putting everything in the personak gym back where it belonged.

Sky had originally planned to take a taxi all the way  to the Knight Order; however, when he was about halfway there, he noticed that there was a traffic jam, an accident had happened someone had hit an old woman's car;

consequently, he paid the cab driver and then decided to run the rest of the way.

On a busy street, a boy could be seen running on the sidelines while the entire road was full of cars moving at a snail's pace.

After some minutes Sky eventually reached his destination.

As soon as Sky entered the building, he walked towards the elevator.

Since Sky was a Knight, he entered the elevator that was allocated for Knights. There were two elevators in the building; one was for civilians, and the other was for Knights. 

Following his admittance into the elevator, he was asked to produce documentation of his identity before the elevator would begin moving. Given that the elevator was equipped with an iris scanner, he moved closer to it so that it could examine his eyes before the elevator began moving.

It was imperative that any and all information pertaining to the Knights be taken seriously because they were the most important people during this time period.

This was necessary in the event that any of the Knights became injured and required blood transfusions, or turned traitorous, amongst other potential scenarios. The Knights Order kept a sample of each Knight's DNA on file, this also included their finger prints and iris scans.

Sky went out of the elevator approximately one second after the door opened, which signified that the elevator had arrived at its destination, and then proceeded to approach the receptionist.

"Hello, I'm seeking for any and all information you may have regarding the abilities that have been documented by the Knights Order. Thank you very much." Sky straightforwardly asked

In response to the inquiry, the friendly receptionist greeted the Sky by saying,

"Owk, sir. Knight, coming right away."

After waiting for about three minutes, she handed Sky a tablet and told him to return it when he was done using it. he then left her table

After being injured on his most recent mission, his status in the Knights Order would be states as injured. He was required to come directly to the Knights Order, have a test, and if it proven that he is not sick anymore, his status would then be changed to active.

He was about to turn when he remembered the main reason that brought him here: 

He quickly told the receptionist his pther reson gor coming here, she was able to set up an appointment for him at the infirmary of the Knight Order so that he could be evaluated there.

He didn't spend any time and went directly to the infirmary, where he reviewed the information on the powers that the Knights Order had documented as he walked there.

Twenty minutes later, he had already finished his tests, and his status had been updated. In addition, he had finished reading the information that was on the pad, but he did not find anything that was associated with the system or anything that was close to it.

He handed the tab back to the receptionist, and she took it from there. When he asked the receptionist if she had heard anything about an ability like the system, she gave him an odd look and then responded with "no."

The receptionist in the Knight's order were highly educated on the subject of knights because studying about knights is a vital part of their training; as a result, he anticipated that possibly she would also be versed on the issue.

Sky muttered as he left the building, "I Guess I Have to Wait to Wait for a Call by the Knights Order,"

even though he had no idea how long it would take for him to receive a mission from the Order this time, he was sure Officer Silvester's evaluation of his strenght would probably worsed the situation, because back then his body had really been feeble.

When he looked around, he noticed that there was still traffic jam on the road, so he made the strategic choice to travel around the back of the Knights building  and then walked towards the underground train station which was about a 15 minutes walk to catch a train to get to his house instead of driving. 

 just as he was about to enter the train station that the system robotic voice once again sounded in his head.
