Chug Ten Bottles Of Alcohol

"I'll be fine with whatever the damn game is," Vincent said, glaring at Dominic. This was the first time he ever maintained eye contact with Dominic and it got on Dominic's nerves.

"This is only getting better with each passing minute." some said.

"Yeah, but I bet Dominic will win. There isn't much that Vincent is capable of. He's a poor loser, they never win with anything." another person said.

"Guys! Let's bet on how many dares he can take before he chickens out." someone said and laughed while others agreed with him.

"Okay then. I will call out the participants." Dominic announced, after letting the words of his classmates deepen the emotional and psychological winds, Vincent.

Dominic looked around and then he began to call names, "Vincent. Toby. Tasha. Melanie. And myself. All five of us will play dares." Dominic said.

Melanie was taken aback when she heard her name. There was no way she was going to join in with a game that Vincent was part of but she couldn't back down either as all eyes were on her.

It was either she joined or she chickened out. And if she chickens out, it would only show to others that she is as cowardly as her so-called boyfriend, Vincent.

Melanie came forward and all five of them sat in a circle while other people watched.

A bottle was placed in the centre of that circle and Dominic was the first to spin it.

The bottle pointed to Tasha and her heart skipped a beat.

"Of all people to receive a dare from, why does it have to be him?" Tasha thought.

"Tasha. I dare you to kiss Toby." Dominic said while staring at Vincent just to let him know that he wouldn't be making things easy for him.

Tasha crawled to where Toby was and Toby readied his lips only to receive a kiss on the cheek. People began to boo.

"What was that?" Dominic asked.

"It's not my fault you didn't say where I should kiss him," Tasha said, wiping her lips. Nothing irritated her more in their class than that bully Toby. Unknown to her, Toby had a crush on her.

"You are such a bore. Why did I even bother adding you?" Dominic said to Tasha.

Tasha spun the bottle and everyone eagerly waited to see who it would land on.

The bottle slowed down when turning to Vincent but it moved passed him and landed on Melanie. Tasha looked offended about the result but did not complain.

Tasha recalled the day when she once confessed her feelings to Vincent when they first started college but he dared to choose Melanie over her even if she was the most popular girl in school.

"I dare you to break up with Vincent," Tasha said and Melanie was taken aback.

"Well?!" Tasha urged Melanie.

Vincent waited with bated breath. "I'm sure she would rather quit this game than do that with me. Right?" Vincent thought as he stared at Melanie pitifully.

"That's easy. Is it even a dare? You're just making me do it sooner than planned." Melanie said and turned to Vincent.

"That is a joke, right? You didn't mean what you just said, did you? We love each other so much so why even bother with this game? If you go then I'll go." Vincent said to Melanie.

Melanie rolled her eyes at Vincent, "Don't you get it, Vincent? You're just a good-looking guy, nothing but an arm candy for me to take to events but I have outgrown that mindset. Only men who have money matter, not the ones I dress up to take with me to parties just to show off." Melanie said to Vincent whose eyes widened with shock.

"Hey. You still haven't done the dare." Tasha interrupted.

"Oh! My bad. I just needed to tell him his place that's all." Melanie replied to Tasha and then turned her attention back to Vincent who looked out of breath.

"It's over between us Vincent. Though I don't know why I needed a dare before doing that." Melanie told Vincent, without any sadness in her words.

Vincent felt his heart shattered. How could that be so easy for her when all he ever did was love her and always be there for her whenever she needed him?

"My turn to spin the bottle," Malanie said, excited.

Melanie gave the bottle a spin and it pointed at Tasha. Melanie smirked and began to say the dare she has been thinking of since Tasha was mentioned for the game.

"I dare you to..."

"Don't bother. I'm out." Tasha said and left the circle. She stood with the crowd and enjoyed the disappointment on Melanie's face. Everyone in school knew that the two hated each other.

"If it wasn't for Vincent then I wouldn't be in this dumb situation." Melanie thought and forfeited her turn to spin.

Toby spun the bottle and it landed on Melanie, "I dare you to kiss the richest guy in the club." Toby said as if he planned on what to dare Melanie.

Without any hesitation, Melanie crawled towards Dominic and locked lips with him in an intense kiss.

Shock couldn't begin to describe all the emotions that Vincent felt right now.

How could Melanie kiss Dominic like she has been wanting him for a long time?

Vincent clenched his fists, trying not to react to it so shamefully. It was bad enough that Melanie had to break up with him while giving him insults publicly.

Vincent wanted to take a turn but Dominic grabbed the bottle. "It's my turn isn't it?" Vincent asked.

"Whoever grabs it first gets the turn to spin," Dominic replied.

Dominic spun the bottle and to Vincent's dismay, it landed on him. Everywhere went silent.

"I dare you to chug ten bottles of alcohol till they are all emptied.

"What?! I..."

"He doesn't have the guts to do it," Melanie said, interrupting Vincent.

"Melanie, what are you saying?" Vincent questioned.

"I am saying you can't do it. How can you be my boyfriend if you are not someone who takes risks? Heck! How did I even agree to date such a wimp in the first place?" Melanie said, staring at Vincent with a look of disgust.

"What is it going to be Vincent? Are you taking the dare?" Dominic asked.

"I'm just glad for the dare that Tasha gave me. At least I don't have to watch him back out like a coward while being his girlfriend. Gross." Melanie said and looked at Vincent with disdain in her eyes.

"I don't care! There is no way I will do that because you said so!" Vincent retorted at Dominic.
