"Your brother escaped. Yes. But how does that mean I helped him? You told me to leave him there and that was exactly what I did. You watched me lock the cell after you walked out." Mr Alfredo Clayton told Ferdinand.

Then how the hell did he manage to get out?" Ferdinand's tone lowered a little.

"How should I know? We left at the same time." Mr Alfredo sipped on his wine again.

Ferdinand tightened his fists as if ready to throw a blow at the nearest person. He left the living room and entered his bedroom upstairs.

Ferdinand paced left and right in his bedroom trying to figure it all out.

Something told Ferdinand that Mr Alfredo had something to do with José's escape but where was the proof?

Mr Alfredo had indeed left the prison with Ferdinand and he had come in alone. There was no one else.
