Chapter Seventy Six: Horde of "Monsters"

Marcus stood with his hands crossed to his chest, his eyes sizing up the hundreds of children who were pinned to some alchemical device. For an unknown reason just staring at the thousands of needles which had been used on the children made him glad. He even curled up his lips into a smile—a smile befitting of a crazed genius he was.

Due to his success on his socalled experiment his former lab had become very small for him so a new lab had been made for him. It was very large and could hold up to a thousand people. Just like the previous it had a gory appearance. The floor had bits of flesh and bones sprawled over them while the walls had blood seeping out of them. Strands of hairs hung from the ceiling, dangling with dry blood on them. A putrid smell filled the whole lab, making whoever that entered pass out immediately (the only exemption being Marcus himself).

"I know I've tried this for one thousand times," Marcus said with a warm smile, "let me make it one thousand and one."
