Chapter Sixty Seven: Once Upon a Time, I...

The sun peeked through the clouds which spread like draperies in the sky, smiling down at the earth vigorously. Birds could be heard chirping as they flew around, preparing for a new day—another busy day.

Daniel wouldn't have woken up but he had to. Getting up lazily from his bed he yawned loudly before stretching himself like a cat.

"I don't know why but I feel I'm becoming lazy these days," Daniel muttered to himself as he stared at the cat which was sound asleep on his bed, "and quite chatty too."

The incident earlier was imprinted deeply in his mind. He had seen Caroline devour the rat and had also sensed her malicious intent. He didn't know why but he felt he was in danger anytime he was around Caroline since they left the haunted house. It had never been so.

Evil Buddha should reply to the question so I can get a lot of information from him, Daniel thought. I don't know why but I think he should be suited for a Wizard instead of a Doppelganger. He's got a whole lotta information
