Transmigration In A Cultivation World

In a dilapidated house, a young man with a handsome appearance yet wearing ragged clothing was currently lying on a wooden bed. The young man’s body was slightly bruised with dirt on his ragged clothing. Judging from his closed eyes and stable breathing pattern, he was sleeping.

Nothing eventful happened for several minutes. But the heavens never wanted an uneventful life in a cultivation world.

As if on cue to heaven’s will, the young man’s body twitched a few times before his body jolted like his body was electrocuted. In an instant, his eyelids opened and it revealed his jade green eyes.

Lifting his body, the young man sat on his bed while rubbing his long disheveled purple hair. Positioning both of his hands in front of him and staring at his hands, the young man was astonished at his current situation!

“These aren’t my hands!”

The young man exclaimed in shock as he maintained eye contact with his hands. He kept on observing them until he was certain that his discovery was true!

“My hands used to have callouses after inheriting the family farm. But these hands are rough from overwork, but not too rough enough to develop callouses. So these aren’t mine.”

To reaffirm his discovery, the young man kept on touching his face and he found out that his facial structure was different from his usual one. As if to put an end to his speculations, the young man placed his right hand on the dragon between his legs.

“Even the size changed…”

The young man muttered but he was relieved that his little brother remained.

Darting his eyes across the room, the young man saw a mirror placed on a wooden table beside his bed. Picking up the mirror, the young man placed it in front of his face.

The mirror reflected his reflection, as it should be. The mirror was slightly dirty, but it still showed his face.

Sword-like purple eyebrows, and long but domineering purple eyelashes. A handsome face that showed off masculinity with a hint of femininity. Coupled with his white and supple skin tone, his appearance was as if he was blessed by the heavens.

‘This isn’t my face!’

‘Is this the so-called transmigration?!’

When the young man came to that realization, an influx of memories assaulted his mind.

The memory of his past life as well as the memory of the previous owner’s body became clearer to him. His current situation was akin to a patient suffering from memory loss, instantly recovering his memories.

The price of recovering his memories was a migraine that was caused by too much memory overloading his brain.

“Arghh!”

The excruciating headache he felt almost made him want to sleep, to end all of the pain. But he couldn’t as his brain replayed all of the memories. If he fell asleep now, then all of the pain he felt would be for naught since he still needed to recover his memories again.

Gritting his teeth, his eyes reflected unwavering resolve as he firmly believe that he could overcome a mere obstacle of pain.

After a minute's worth of enduring the massive headache, the young man was finally relieved of his suffering. Breathing a sigh of relief, the young man found out his current situation.

‘I seem to have occupied the body of Wushu Shengli, an outer disciple of the Transcendence Sect. His background is quite complicated and the Wushu Clan should not be underestimated.’

‘As for the reason why Wushu Shengli died which allowed me to transmigrate into his body, even I don’t know the reason. But that’s the least of my worries. After all…’

After pausing to calm down his mind, Wushu Shengli’s body trembled in excitement.

‘This is a world of immortality cultivation!’

‘But, I have a problem. From my memories, Shengli has trash talent in cultivation. Even his cultivation realm was only at Qi Refining 3rd Stage.’

‘From my past life, I have read countless cultivation novels. And I know that being trash and weak in a cultivation world is considered a sin! After all, I will be treated as a nobody and someone inferior if I don’t have a strong cultivation realm to protect myself.’

Thinking about his current predicament, Wushu Shengli couldn’t help but sigh.

Shengli didn’t doubt his patience. Even if he was asked to spend thousands of years living in seclusion just to improve his cultivation realm, he would be willing to do so. But the premise was that he had the talent to cultivate.

Let alone a thousand years, even millions of years wouldn’t be enough to possess a cultivation realm enough to be called a powerhouse in this cultivation world. Shengli’s talent was that trash.

Even a bug could become a powerhouse in a million years after living in a cultivation world. But Shengli’s talent was so trashy that it was inferior to a bug.

The transmigrator who currently possessed Shengli’s trash body couldn’t help but feel depressed. But he then remembered something!

‘I shouldn’t feel depressed and helpless. Aren’t I a transmigrator? Shouldn’t most if not all transmigrators have a golden finger or cheat skill?’

Brimming with hope, Shengli waited inside the dilapidated house for his golden finger to arrive. He dare not venture outside his house for fear of dying from unreasonable cultivators.

Whether it was a system, a grandpa cultivator in a ring, a mythical sword with loli sword spirit, or even a unique cultivation ability, Shengli would accept it with open hands. He was very desperate for a golden finger as he knew that he wouldn’t live long in a cultivation world without it.

If not for his trash cultivation talent, he wouldn’t be this desperate. In the end, he could only blame the heavens didn’t favor the previous Wushu Shengli.

-Knock -Knock

While waiting for his golden finger to arrive, Shengli heard a knocking sound coming from his door. But he dare not answer nor open it.

Call him a coward but he dared not take his chances since he only has one life! He had yet to enjoy his life in this cultivation world. He didn’t want to die that early!

“Shengli, are you there? Elder Sword asked us, outer disciples, to gather at the training ground for our yearly talent appraisal.”

Shengli’s ears perked up as he heard the voice of a male younger than him. The source was none other than the person who knocked on his door.

Although Shengli was fearful before, he was no longer afraid that the person knocking on his door was an evil cultivator who wanted to harm him. From his memories, the voice owner was none other than a fellow outer disciple of the Transcendence Sect.

He was none other than Luo Tian, Shengli’s friend!

If not for Luo Tian, Shengli would have already been bullied to the point of dying. Although Shengli was still bullied, it was meager compared to the absence of Luo Tian’s protection.

Even if Luo Tian was an outer disciple, his cultivation realm was at Qi Refining 9th Stage. In other words, Luo Tian was one of the strongest in the outer yard. But since Luo Tian couldn’t protect Shengli every day, it was inevitable for Shengli to be bullied away from Luo Tian’s sight.

Although Shengli was happy that Luo Tian cared for him to even remind him about that, he remembered from Luo Tian’s reminder that today was an important event for outer disciples!

It was the event that decides whether an outer disciple would remain at the outer yard or be transferred to the inner yard or core yard. And if the outer disciple was beyond saving, then being expelled from the sect was a possibility!

‘Wait, wouldn’t I be expelled from the sect with my trash talent? It has been three years that I have been stuck at Qi Refining 3rd Stage. Even among trash cultivators, it’s unprecedented for someone to be stuck at Qi Refining 3rd Stage when most cultivators would be stuck at the bottleneck of their cultivation realms’

Predicting his outcome during the yearly talent appraisal event, Wushu Shengli became even more desperate for his golden finger to arrive!

But even if he was desperate, he still needed to reply to Luo Tian or else it would be rude if he didn’t do that. After all, Luo Tian’s care for him was genuine so even if he was in a bad mood, he shouldn’t neglect his friendship with Luo Tian.

“Thanks for the reminder, Luo Tian! I’ll head to the outer training ground by myself. I’m not feeling well currently.”

Thinking of an excuse not to meet with Luo Tian, Shengli could only feign sickness.

“Get well soon, Shengli! Even if you aren’t feeling well, make sure to attend the event or else Elder Sword will be in a bad mood and you might get expelled.”

After leaving those words, Luo Tian departed and left Shengli of his own accord.

‘Aah! What should I do?! I might get expelled at the sect at this rate!’

‘When will my golden finger arrive?’

While Shengli was becoming more desperate, he heard the sound of salvation.

-Ding!
