[Revenant] "Why is this valley so big! This is all your fault Fye!" Rio was complaining as he and Fye flew through the valley. It was massive and it stretched out for miles. Rio was beginning to grow tired from the constant traveling as they were trying to find a way out of the valley. Looking out as far as he could, Rio felt like he could see something. "Yes! Go that way quickly! I don't care what's over there, but as long as it's not another valley filled with nothing, I'll take it. Just hurry." Rio said as he began flying faster, wanting to reach the end as soon as possible. Fye flew behind him, her eyes closed as she focused on controlling their flight path. It wasn't long before they reached what Rio had seen in the distance. A large array of mountains were straight ahead. They were huge, reaching high into the sky, the highest peak easily reaching over 10 miles into the air. What the hell? How did I not see this earlier? These things are massive! Rio said to himself as
Rio entered the castle watching as the others bowed before him. He wasn't sure why this was the case but simply assumed that he was some kind of noble in this world. Walking down the luxurious halls, Rio entered into the chamber that he had seen Rhama disappear into. Entering the room, he was met with the sight of the beautiful woman sitting at a desk obscured by mountains of papers. "Have you come to watch me work again?." she asked as she looked up at him. Nodding his Head Rio sat beside her, watching her hastily move through the stack of documents. "It's been quite a while since we've last spent time together, my son. I'm sorry I haven't been able to spend time with you lately." she said with a smile, caressing her slender hand down his back. "But with all of this conflict, things have been rough. The Humans have been far more active than normal." Rio thought to himself how he was going to bring these two races together. How could he possibly stop a war between the werewolves
Rhama, was led into the camp when one of the soldiers leading her, put his hands around his mouth. "Prince Alexander!" He called out. "Yes? What is it?" He responded, turning just slightly so that the man was within his vision. "We have a guest here that would like to spend the night within our care. Do you know how we might accommodate her?"the soldier said, his voice low so as not to be heard by the other soldiers around him. "Hmm? A guest? this far away from civilization?" Alexander asked suspiciously before turning to meet the gaze of the guest. His heart skipped a beat at the sight of the beautiful woman standing before him, allowing no other words to escape his mouth. "Ahem, I believe that it would be best for me to take over. I'm going to have to ask her a few questions before I can allow her to stay within the camp." Alexander said quickly while clearing his throat. The soldier nodded his head as he stepped aside to allow Alexander to take over. "Please follow me." Alex
Sensing footsteps approaching, Rio wakes from his sleep, shaking Rhama awake as well before hastily entering into the void. "Morning lady Rhama? Are you awake?" "Good morning. Yes, I'm awake." Rhama answers, her voice sounding sleepy and soft. "I trust that you slept well?" Alexander asks with a warm smile. "Yes, thank you for asking. Is it time for us to depart?" Rhama says with a bright smile before yawning. "Not quite. We still have another hour until we begin packing everything up. I actually came by to ask if you would like to join us for breakfast. I know that it will be a long trip ahead and it would be nice to get to know you better." Alexander explains sheeply as his voice softens. "Yes, that would be lovely." Rhama says with a giggle. "Wonderful! then I will show you the way." Alexander joyfully exclaims, opening the tents vestibule before quickly shutting them back tightly. "I am extremely sorry my lady! I was not aw
While Rhama and Alexander are preoccupied in their breakfast conversation, conflict had begun brewing back in the werewolf's territory. Their queen, along with her son had yet to return and tensions were rising. "You better hold your tongue Parocly! What your saying can be considered mockery of the crown!" one of the werewolves shouted. Parocly raised his voice in response. "We have waited for long enough Kade! She will not return! Face it. She has abandoned her people! We must find another way to survive in this world without her." Kade was taken aback by the bold words spoken by the werewolf. "I don't think that will be necessary. She will return, I'm sure of it." Parocly scoffs. "I doubt that. She was never worthy of wearing the crown and you know it. The old queen would have torn the land asunder, putting those pathetic humans in their places. She would have made us the dominant species here. Not these shells of our former selves, constant
Putting 5 coins into the box, Rio watches as it vibrates. the box comes to a halt and spits out a small black object. [Lesser stone of power- Increases strength by 1] "Ohh, so sad!!" The box chimes with disappointment. Rio picks up the stone and puts it in his mouth with immense dissatisfaction. "That was a waste of 5 coins." Rio grumbles. "Come on, give me something good." Rio takes another 5 coins and puts them into the box, watching as it begins to shake once more. The box continues to shake for another minute until the box stops shaking. A large stone is then ejected from the box. Rio looks down at the stone to see what this one is. at the very least, it looks more promising than the last one. The stone is dark purple with a small crack running through it. [Soul stone-Fill with your energy and see what's inside.] "Biiig Winner!!" "Yes, yes, I know. It is a big win, but are you really not going to tel
Alexander sneaks his way throughout the camp, and quickly notices his sword. It was currently in the hands of one of the tribesmen. The man looked like he was analyzing the blade of light with great curiosity. The man had begun moving his fingers in the air, causing runes to appear around the blade. The man then began speaking in a language that Alexander didn't understand but he knew it would be trouble. Whatever the man was trying to do with his blade would undoubtedly be bad news. He rushes into the room to the tribesman's surprise. Before they could react, Alexander kicks the man in the stomach causing him to drop the sword and making his runes dissipate. He quickly picks up the blade before the man can recover, and turns to defend himself from the many tribesmen who are rushing into the tent. They begin attacking Alexander as he dodges their attacks. "Damn, these guys are tough." Alexander thinks as he blocks a spear thrusting at his chest. "If I don't get out of here soon I
Rio and Rhama continue riding with the envoy while under the constant stares of Alexander. The rife was peaceful and only helped to bring the two together while Rio watched on in satisfaction. Everything seemed to have been coming along perfectly. It wouldn't be long now until he was able to complete the trial and continue up the mountain. "This is a nice change from my typical frantic pace." Rio says as he watches the scenery pass by. "I could get used to more easy missions like this." Rio sat back and relaxed as their wagon ascended the hills when the sounds of yelling were heard from up ahead. The yelling startled Alexander causing him to lose focus on Rhama. Looking out from the wagon, they could see a large city, under fire. Smoke was rising high into the sky from the fires that had broken out. "What's happening here?" Rio thinks as he looks around confused. He can tell that something is terribly wrong as Alexander's face was pale white with fear
